I am running Big Sur 11.7.10 with a Radeon RX570 and when using Photoshop Camera Raw Mask and try to adjust “detail” slider the system kind of crashes by going BLACK SCREEN and the GPU fans full speed. I had to force shutdown by pressing the power button. How can I solve this?
After trying a test install on a separate SSD, I upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey.
Also managed to make the eSATA ports (ASMedia 1061) to work by extracting from Mojave Multibeast the AHCI_3rdParty_eSATA kext and included on Opencore kext folder, and patched the com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPORT...
I am running Big Sur 11.6.8
I tried to create a new EFI on a separate USB Stick with the latest OC 0.8.3 downloaded the debugg version and when tried to boot from the USB Stick the boot picker still showed 0.7.2. I read on a forum how to see the loaded OC version, and I found “change on...
I would like somebody to help me resolve the USB mapping process. I am running Big Sur with Opencore. I runned the USBMap mentioned in this link —I went half way of what is explained on that site— and here are the screenshots. I would like to have the front USB 3.0 working. The ASMEDIA...
I would like to share after I've found in a “parallel” forum the patches for my MOBO to get Power Management working.
This is in addition to the SSDT-PM.aml obtained using ssdtPRGen
I have recently swapped my previous Nvidia GPU GTX 960 by an Radeon RX 570, which allowed me to boot with CSM disabled. The Nvidia did not allow to boot with CSM disabled: three short beeps from MOBO meaning no GPU detected unable to choose boot device and unable to enter into BIOS setup, the...
I have been struggling for a while to solve the CPU Power Management and finally found the solution. This MOBO requires some patches that I was using in Clover and finally found how to “translate” those patches to Opencore. Followed the guide in Dortania. I am currently running High Sierra since...

I edited my initial post.
Made a change: deleted all the content of /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ and with Multibeast 10.4.0 have installed Clover Uefi, and deleted the file nvram.plist
The system boots well in normal mode.
However trying again in Safe mode and verbose after reading “Mac Framework...
I have managed to install Yosemite 10.10.4 on a 1st Generation HD Intel Graphics Acer Aspire 5741-3404

I was able to successfully install Yosemite 10.10.4 on Acer Aspire 5741-3404 including getting graphics acceleration and proper display resolution (Arrandale processor integrated graphics). Almost everything worked Wifi (toledaARPT kext ;) ) , sound and camera.
Later I could not reboot again...
