hey guys, any of you able to get the audio working in monterey? I cannot get the HDMI figured out. I'm looking at the supported codec and NVIDIA 0x10DE isn't found so I have no clue how to proceed.
There must be a way... Much appreciated.
edit: i dropped down to Big Sur to get the GT710...
I got the same error.
This solved it.

Hi sevoneone, thanks for your post. I'm tempted to upgrade my trusty sandy bridge also to UEFI but I'm worried that my existing Yosemite HDD will not run off the UEFI. I would still like to boot up the OSX so I can still access it. Will this work? Thanks.
I got further and was able to finish the installation. Seems that it didn't like my USB 3.0 stick. Didn't even know it could make such a difference.
Now, I'm back to getting stuck installing Clover onto the boot drive. Getting the dreaded "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport".
Hi,
I am trying to install El Capitan on a GA-Z97X-SLI rev 1.2 [F9] with the integrated graphics HD4600 and 8GB of RAM.
I got past the initial Installer, but when I get to Step 5 in the guide (Boot Mac OS X from El Capitan), it reboots right after I see the Apple progress bar loaded...
I'm stuck here also with my GA-Z97X-SLI with internal graphics. Any help? It's driving me nuts.
edit: figured it out. I was stupid and used VGA with a USB 3.0 key.
I installed Rehabman's GenericUSBXHCI.kext (released Oct.16) with kextbeast and repaired permissions.
I restarted a few times and USB 3.0 still doesn't work. My USB 2.0 ports are all functional.
When I accidentally booted with a USB 3.0 key still connected to my system, the USB 3.0...
finally able to install 10.9.0.
had to install it on F9 bios, but could not do it as an update. had to be a pure vanilla install.
was able to transfer my data over via time machine (data+applications) from my backup.
thanks sevoneone for all your help. followed your instructions to a T.
thanks sevoneone.
i might load the F9 DSDT onto my backup, see if my F4 bios will boot it up off it. i think i did use a DSDT when i built the computer. it's been a long while ago.
hi sevoneone,
before i upgrade my bios, i'm paranoid that my cloned backup of 10.8.3 will not work with F9. is that a possibility? then i'd be dead in the water without a functioning hack.
thanks sevoneone.
I'm stuck here.
•Boot to the flash drive again and select internal drive from Chimera
I can't boot into the new mavericks drive. (upgrading my system from 10.8.3). that's where my problem lies. you think it has to do with my bios being at F4? I'm a bit hesitant on...
