So basically how many of you got it to work? My mac went to sh.it when I did the 1st update of Mojave. It takes 5 minutes to start, 3 alone to get to the bootloader.

People, I can't stress this enough:
Apple likes AMD, and they seem to work better on macs than nVidia. Better acceleration too.
Even if they release drivers/support for Pascal, genuine macs will always use AMD. They are cheaper thus apple striking a...
Wait till you buy a 1080 Strix OC edition, that's when you'll feel the butthurt.
I did the same only change is, thinking between amd and nvidia for osx since amd is more keen to have support for a long time.
So bottom line is we still don't have any drivers for it right? I'm checking in every 10 pages or so and the only solution I see here is to get an AMD as well. But for us with watercooled systems and a huge ass card like ASUS 1080 Strix, where would we fit it? And will it be proof for all future...
It woould be totally sweet if nVidia releases 1080ti along with Apple's Pascal driver support. At least that's what I'm rooting for right now.
Back in the day I used to hate Ti's now I live for them.
Well if you mean by "tinker drive" the one the OS is on and the design elements and workload on another, then yes, it's always been like that. Personally i would never spend cash on a "pure" mac just cause i don't like paying 70% for a logo (apple). I create logos for a living, i get paid for...
I would suggest to those that are designers and want to upgrade to gtx 1070 and 1080 to download PSD Codecs and Seer for windows and stick to that until August or whatever.
Nope didn't work either. Black screen freeze.
I don't know, these don't seem to me like solutions, even for a delicate OS like a mac. I just hope the DP and DVI cables will work.
Cause it seems a lot of stuff don't on Yosemite. One of them being the Custom Keyboard app shortcuts.
I managed to make it work, this is officially solved.
Just have to figure out how to make two displays stick.
Right now only the Dell 27" 1440p works with the nvidia drivers on DVI.
The LG on VGA doesn't want to play nice.
I'll probably buy a DP Cable and pass the DVI on to the LG.
How did you change from 6,1 to 3,1? Mine is 5,1 and I have a vga to dvi and a dvi-d. I was thinking of buying a display port for my Dell and pas over the dvi to my LG. Thus plugging them in my gtx 980 G1.
Would that work? :roll2:
