Just curious, but do you also have this problem when using the other Ethernet port at the back of the Z390 MOBO?
And can you share a anonymized version of your EFI? Then I can compare it with mine.

I wished I saw this post before, dang it :) I will try to fix my system, as it now hangs after entering the macOS login password. SecureBootModel was already disabled by...
Unfortunately I'm having a lot of troubles updating from 14.3.1 to 14.4 on OC0.9.8. First it took a lot of reboots while and the loading bar (on the black screen) went very slow.
Now the loading bar and installation seems done, but when I then entered my password an hit enter, the system is...
Works like a charm. I'm using it like forever now. With several builds. Here a screenshot:

BT/WIFI is not mandatory for an installation. An Ethernet connection/internet connection is not required as long as you have the bootable USB with a full installer.
I had problems lately, knowing that my EFI was good. Something happened to my BIOS. I read somewhere that a BIOS can degrade after...
Made a manual for a few buddies of mine and I wanted to try a new version of Camtasia :) Perhaps you folks also find it handy. Update Opencore using OCAuxTools.
I bought a WD SN850X, and installed Sonoma on it. I also have Ventura on another SATA SSD. Now, when I have the SN850X drive connected, the BIOS and OpenCore don't 'see' the SATA SSD (Ventura) anymore. Wth :-) Does anyone know what I should do?
It seems that my Bluetooth isn't working. I'm using the Fenvi t919 in combination with Ventura (13.5).
It's also weird that I can switch the button in quick settings, but it doesn't really activate it.
Does anyone know what can cause this? The Fenvi should work by default, right? Also attached...
I'm sure that since this post more people have installed it and are using it, but I just wanted to from my side that this works great. I've installed it using Q-Flash.
@jiffyslot You wouldn't believe it, but I'm typing this from my Ventura installation  Reflashing the BIOS was indeed the solution! I don't face the immediate freezes anymore. Thanks a million for that advice. Finally, after 2 weeks of trying it finally works again.
Just a question in...
Thanks, I will try this also.
Regarding BIOS, that's always a tricky thing in my mind. To which version should I reflash/update, and how? I'm now on the unmodified version of F9i. I guess this is the latest manual I should follow, right...
