    I ran into slow/unstable network issues ... Thought it was my NAS which gave me problems, but no! Installed an earlier version of the networkcard driver, problem solved! :) With an Z97-A mainboard use AplleIntelE1000e V3.0.4.1A instead .. All problems gone :) :angel:

    The only problem I can see is your videocard :cry: As far as I know, are there no (good working) drivers available for Mavericks. If you get it working, it doesn't run smoothly.. Maybe a stupid tip, but if you have an extra HDD, you could try it out.. :headbang:

    The R9 280X should work out of the box :) There are more people who experienced this ... I have a R9 270X which works out of the box also .. very smoothly btw

    [SUCCESS] Asus Z97A + Intel i7-4790 + GTX 460 SE

    I had the same problem ... I fixed it by downloading Chameleon wizard .. As anyone above, I used GraphicsEnabler=No and ALC892 for audio (used the normal Green port)
