Hi Kimmoth,
I had a Gigabyte board before ... now I have a Z97-A which is working a lot smoother..
A Gigabyte board doesn't work right out of the box most of the times .. it needs a bit more tweaking instead of a Z97 board.
I don't have any experience with a GTX in combination with OSX, but I...
I ran into slow/unstable network issues ...
Thought it was my NAS which gave me problems, but no!
Installed an earlier version of the networkcard driver, problem solved! :)
With an Z97-A mainboard use AplleIntelE1000e V3.0.4.1A instead ..
All problems gone :)
Hi Daeg!
First of all, Welcome :)
I've got the same mainboard and running Mavericks right now.
I'll do a upgrade to Yosemite right now, so I'll post the results as soon as possible (if it's working ;))
Btw. your english is fine!
Grtz,
Hielkio
The only problem I can see is your videocard
As far as I know, are there no (good working) drivers available for Mavericks.
If you get it working, it doesn't run smoothly..
Maybe a stupid tip, but if you have an extra HDD, you could try it out.. :headbang:
The R9 280X should work out of the box :)
There are more people who experienced this ...
I have a R9 270X which works out of the box also .. very smoothly btw
I had the same problem ... I fixed it by downloading Chameleon wizard ..
As anyone above, I used GraphicsEnabler=No and ALC892 for audio (used the normal Green port)
