How can I update the kexts with Hackintool if I get stuck at the loading bar and Apple logo after updating from 10.14.6 to 10.15.7? What is the right position for the kexts? EFI/Kexts, L/E or S/L/E?
How did you manage your USBs as there is a release of limit? Are you just using @ski4evr SSDT for Catalina too?
Did you make your own SSDT? If yes, would you please share it for an easier update for others (including me) that are going to 10.15.x from 10.14.x sooner or later?
I already gave up a day before yesterday and downgraded to Mojave 10.14.6, fixed USBs with Multibeast and now it works OK. And as you said; 1 port at the front panel doesn't work with 2.0 devices. I will probably wait for a few weeks until Multibeast for Catalina comes out and then upgrade it...
Hackintosh was built by the Stork's instructions for Hector. Added RX 580 and Lilu+WEG to L/E with Hackintool and updated it to 10.15.2 from 10.13.6.
I have a problem with USB (3.0). I tried to make my own SSDT like on this video (Instructions by @RehabMan). As the video says I also added...
Where did you update the SSD Hackintosh system from? Mac App Store (MAS) or Apple Support? I had problems with MAS updating, but Apple Support worked fine.
Nvidia Web Drivers update tool by user benjamin.dobell should help.
Just copy the following row to the Terminal and press Enter:

With Security update 2019-002 it was 17G6030... but as far as I know today came 17G7024 which is currently the lastest.
If what you are tellin’ me is the truth-which Nvidia Web driver version is for 17G7024?
Still waiting for Nvidia Web drivers after Security Update 2019-003. Update went smooth tho.
Currently running macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra 17G7024 with 7 MB of video memory. :headbang:
Open Clover Configurator and mount your EFI partition
Open your config.plist with Clover Configurator
In left menu select 'Boot'
At 'Boot' options search for 'Debug'.
It must be UNticked!
Save the config.plist.
That should work for the next time. ;)
You can find new Web Drivers here or just check for updates in Web Drivers app.
I finally got it to work via Apple Support site. :headbang: If anybody else has that problem: Download Security Update 2019-002 (High Sierra)
That's not the same. You have 17G6029 and I am stuck at 17G5019. Your problem is Nvidia-drivers will be here in a few hours/days. No GPU acceleration for you.
Mojave security update can't be the case, as I downloaded it from App Store under Updates. Icon of SU is from High Sierra if...
I have a problem with updating the new Security Update 2019-002 from macOS 10.13.6 (17G5019) 2019-001. After it finished with downloading the update, my Hack restarted and stalled at cca. 15% of the white bar.
After approx. 10 mins of stalling a window popped out.
For some reason, the icon is...
I also use Dell monitor (U2515H 2K) with DP 1.2 cable. The AUX jack does NOT work. DDC/CI on other hand does.
DP and HDMI both worked OOB, but if you want everything to work you need HDMI 2.0 (preferably 2.0b) capable system with not the cheapest cable. :)
I found a solution for my Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI. Now all of USB 3.0 ports are working (on MOBO and front case panel).
Similar to @the509man I used this process:
Mount EFI Partition with Clover Configurator
Navigate to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/Clover/
Right-click open config.plist with Clover...
I read that on the previous page, yes. Some gave the reply that they succeeded with the installation, so I was thinking I can try with it too. Whatever.
I will take the waiting for the re-release of 387.10.10.15.15.108 succssesor and avoid dealing with kexts. :beachball: Thanks for help...
