[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

If I'm already on "appleacl" branch (re-installed 10.13.6 a week ago), should I switch to "master" and update ACPI and config.plist as well? Or they're merged into "master" without any changes and I can leave them intact on my working 4530s?

Didn't help. Ended up with clean installation from scratch, was going to do this anyway. Now with AppleACL branch everything is working nice.

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Can I get a vanilla one from another hackintosh installation of 10.13.6? And then just install it to S/L/E on 4530s?

HP 4530s, 10.13.6. Trying to update kexts and patches, ran commands as described in "Major update" section of the guide. And having this: installing kexts/AppleBacklightInjector.kext to /Library/Extensions installing kexts/SATA-unsupported.kext to /Library/Extensions installing...

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Did I get it right that HP Probook 4530s is no longer supported due to its HD3000 video chip and even with the community patch no Mojave installation is possible? Or this can be somehow implemented via RehabMan repository?

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

I have exactly the same problem since I've installed High Sierra on 4530s. Lilu.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup.kext were removed, AptioMemoryFix.efi was installed long time ago and nothing helps. Gotta restart laptop 3-4 times a day. Do you, by any chance, have Parallels Desktop installed? Maybe it...

[solved] HP Probook 4540s Battery life only 1hr!!!!!

Well, our models are different then. My ProBook 4530s (B0W80ES) (Core i5 2450M 2500 Mhz/15.6"/1366x768/4096Mb/320Gb), your quiet fan DSDT patch is installed. Just browsing - 1,5 hour. Running apps, iTunes playback, iWork, iPhoto - 1 hour or less. Video playback - 40-50 minutes. Can not...

[solved] HP Probook 4540s Battery life only 1hr!!!!!

I guess there's no way to improve battery life on our ProBooks...There are not real Macs after all, unless you wanna get 9-cell battery, which is major impact to its weight (ProBook is originally pretty heavy, improved battery gonna make you forget about portability at all) and laptop size (who...

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update I thought so, but since I saw your report on almost instant boot with FW 070H, I started to "think different" :)

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update Well, as it claimed in post #13 I had no changes in boot time (15-20 sec) after Crucial M4 256Gb firmware has been updated up to ver.070H. I have re-patched my DSDT but no still no luck. You asked me for my raw DSDT and list of patches, which I just gave you.

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update Sorry for delay, haven't had a chance to prepare DSDT earlier. Pls find attached my raw DSDT. I booted with "DSDT=No", ran MaciASL and saved this DSDT dump via "File - New from ACPI - DSDT...". Should be really raw this time, otherwise I don't know what can...

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update Very strange, 'cause it's just been extracted using MaciASL method with boot flag "DSDT=no" prior that.

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update Yes, thanks for suggestion, gonna extract new one right under OS X using MaciASL, according to your guide. UPD. Wow, now I'm getting a massive pack of compiling errors trying to save my patched DSDT from MaciASL. Extracted raw DSDT twice, patched it and got...

    Crucial M4 SSD firmware update/Realtek driver/boot times

Crucial M4 SSD firmware update No HW changes since DSDT creation. But I'm thinking of re-patching my raw DSTD, as it looks like something obviously gone wrong (Safari crashes too often, no changes in boot time, freezes etc).
