For my Galaxy GTX470, I just
1. For snow leopard 10.6.8
- install nvidia graphic driver from the website for Snow Leopard
- boot.plist has GraphicsEnabler = Yes
- add ID into AGPM.kext
2. For Lion
- boot.plist has GraphicsEnabler = Yes
- add ID into AGPM.kext
That's all. No enabler...
I had error with DSDT from the database.
After I removed it (actually just renamed it to something else) and removed npci=0x2000 from the boot parameter, then I can boot with both graphic card.
Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E Pro
GPU 0: Galaxy GTX470
GPU 1: XFX 9400GT 512DDR2
Windows 7 x64bit...
I currently stuck at boot then I inserted the 2nd graphic card. :banghead: . I thought it will just work.
I am using the DSDT from the database. I will post screenshot later.
Any changes with the PCIRoot in plist? GraphicsEnabler=Yes btw.
I am dual booting Snow Leopard and Lion on the same...
Nice Hackrig.
I think NVEnabler 64.kext can be put away. I've previously owned one and Snow Leopard should detect it natively in Snow Leopard 10.6.5 and up and also Lion.
Just set GraphicsEnabler = Yes and PCIRootID correctly
