UPDATE: Just updated MacOS Sierra to 10.12.6 as well as my graphics drivers to the latest version (378.05.05.25f01) and the problem is still persists. What should I do?
I'm having an issue with certain UI elements being scrambled in some apps. I'm using OS X Sierra 10.12.0 and the latest web drivers for my 750ti (version: 367.15.10.05f01).
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the response. So where am I supposed to put these lines of code within config.plist?
I've tried a few locations and non of them worked.
<key>DefaultVolume</key>
<string>MacHDD</string>
Hey, so I just got my El Capitan installation working flawlessly using clover as my boot loader. My only complaint is that I always have to hit "Enter" whenever I boot up to make clover select my drive. When I was using Chimera, my system would automatically boot into my SSD unless I interrupted...
Thanks, I ended up doing what you said about an hour after writing this thread. I was originally trying to boot using the non-UEFI drive rather then the UEFI one. I tried it and it worked. Now my install of El Capitan is working flawlessly! Thanks!
Hey, so I'm getting this strange error message every time I try to boot from the SSD I installed El Cap onto:
I did everything the guide told me to. The only thing out of the ordinary is that whenever I open up clover configurator I'm always told that config.plist is "not found" and I have to...
Okay, I think I'm going to got with option number 2. I'm going to assume a Time Machine backup wouldn't work in this instance, so I think I'm just going to put all my important files on my internal hard drive. Wish me luck!
Thanks, I got to the installer with nv_disabler=1 as my only boot flag. Since I'm upgrading from Yosemite to El Cap and I don't want to format my drive as the guide would suggest, should I go through the installer without doing anything else?
After creating my bootable USB drive using the clover installation guide, this is what I see onscreen right before my system force restarts:
I didn't boot with any boot flags other then booting into verbose mode. This is my first time using clover and I'm updating form OS X 10.10 Yosemite...
I reply this time with good news. I have successfully made it past the "We couldn't create a new partition bla bla bla..." error; however, I have another problem (I know right!).
After the setup completes and the computer restarts, I get a black screen with a blinking curser. I tired installing...
Okay, so I made even more progress from installing windows 10 the way you guys told me to and I managed to make my drive compatible with the windows setup with no errors (YES!!!). However, I am not out of the woods yet. Here is the error I get when I install press "next" after choosing my...
Alright, so I made some progress today in my journey to get Windows 10 on my PC. I managed to format the drive I intend to install Windows onto as NTFS through a new piece of software I found here...
Actually, now that i think about it, I didn't use the instructions you told my to use... I ended up accidentally deleting it form my USB and using a different ISO to boot from. Also, the hard drive that I intend to use to install Windows onto is in my PC. So do I need to physically need to open...
I am trying to install windows 10 on an empty 2.5in hard drive I have in my computer. Here is what I formatted that drive to:
I tried booting from my USB flash drive (UEFI) and was able to get to the installer as I had been able to before. I didn't have any success trying to install Windows...
Didn't work. I tried formatting the drive as FAT32 and NTFS and neither solved my problem. FAT32, when I selected UEFI, told me I needed to format my drive as NTFS and formatting the drive as NTFS didn't allow me to select UEFI. I tried installing non-UEFI and it Told me I couldn't install...
Hello,
So I got my USB Windows 10 installer working, but I can't get past the "Where do you want to install Windows" screen. I get this error message after selecting any drive:
Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style.
Windows cannot be...
