I thought i posted yesterday, maybe i did and i just don't see it. I've been dealing with power outages here in Texas since Sunday. Here is by Big Sur EFI and my Catalina EFI.

Updated without issue on OC 0.6.6 with 3 reboots.

Agree, i tried that in my scenario and it was totally locked. Could only reboot and get the same result on multiple tries. I did get multiple reboots when i installed directly as an update from the app store, but no lock-ups.

I tried rebooting and loading into the installer a few times like that, but it would always end up the same.

It went black for about 30 seconds, then locked, yes.

Once i was able to get my internal ethernet working, following this method fixed it right up! Thank you!

Wireless is actually pretty simple. Here's my solution (works every time.) Go to FRY's or any other store and pick up a $12-$14 usb wireless adapter that is Mac compatible. Works every time.

Same here. I can get it to work in Lion, but not Mountain Lion. Doesn't even show Ethernet. I have resorted to a wireless USB that works fine, but would like to get onboard Ethernet installed. Anyone have success?
