    Moarfish's build - GA-B75M-D3H i5 3570K

Using thewer's recommended settings, I was able to get my board up to 10.11.3/Clover relatively easily. However, instead of choosing MacPro 3,1 (the default) in the system definitions, I used everymac.com to look up the system with the same CPU as mine (ivy bridge core i3 3225) which happened...

    How to Fix iMessage

No - that only comes up if I incorrectly inject MLB or ROM. All I get is: "Could not sign in to iMessage. An error occurred during activation. Try again."

    How to Fix iMessage

Fair enough - I generated a new S/N using Chameleon Wizard for a system type with similar hardware, which I checked against apple's database (no match). I generated a new UUID and injected it, creating a new, matching nvram.UUID.plist. I used the S/N + 5 random characters for the MLB and the...

    How to Fix iMessage

I'm using the system UUID, MLB, and ROM from an older mini (4,1) that will never connect to the internet. I'm using Chameleon 2377 and FileNVRAM.dylib and have successfully generated a nvram.UUID.plist with matching UUID file following section 6.2. I have injected the MLB and ROM, and iMessage...

    [Success] ECS 945GCT-M

I'm currently running 10.7.5 successfully. The combination of dsdt and org.chameleon.boot.plist edits I posted earlier still works for graphics and sleep. The only other issue I ran into was waking from sleep - the display would not wake. The solution was setting BIOS passwords - user and...

10.7.5 darkwake=0 blocks dsdt from loading

I found a workaround to get this board to wake up from sleep properly without needing darkwake=0. You just need to go into the BIOS and set the user and admin passwords. Once these are set, wake from sleep works. I had a similar issue with my Dell Latitiude D620 waking from sleep, and the...

10.7.5 darkwake=0 blocks dsdt from loading

Searching, I have not come across anyone else with this issue... This is an ECS 945GCT-M that was working well with a custom dsdt for graphics/sleep under 10.7.3. Finally upgraded to 10.7.5, and I ran into the black screen on wake from sleep issue that is supposedly fixed by darkwake=0 kernel...

    miramar's Baby75 - GA-B75M-D3V - i7 3770 - GT640 - ATX - Mountain Lion

Are you using the built in graphics or a separate card? If built-in, your CPU must have HD4000 for the driver to work. For example, the i3-3220 has HD2500, which is not supported by the graphics driver, while the i3-3225 (HD4000) is supported.

    miramar's Baby75 - GA-B75M-D3V - i7 3770 - GT640 - ATX - Mountain Lion

I stand corrected. What I don't understand then, is, after a format and a fresh Unibeast install, with my mobo bios set to boot from the HDD and ignore the USB, the first restart finds Chimera and will boot from the HDD. And there is a boot file in the root directory.

    miramar's Baby75 - GA-B75M-D3V - i7 3770 - GT640 - ATX - Mountain Lion

I believe Unibeast installs chimera (version of chameleon). Multibeast is just drivers. So if your system gets the boot0 after Unibeast installs, Multibeast may not help. The only two ways I've come across to fix boot0 error are either a manual installation of boot1h (follow the link), or...

    miramar's Baby75 - GA-B75M-D3V - i7 3770 - GT640 - ATX - Mountain Lion

If you have a large HDD, it may be this issue: http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html Otherwise, Unibeast has a pretty dumb Chameleon installer. If you have more than one HDD, you may need to unplug your non-system HDD(s) before you do the install. That happened to me...

    miramar's Baby75 - GA-B75M-D3V - i7 3770 - GT640 - ATX - Mountain Lion

This was by far the smoothest, easiest hackintosh build I have put together. I used an i3-3225 (HD-4000), and everything just worked. I installed 10.8.2 with unibeast 1.5.3, and as suggested, used the Realtek Gigabit drivers from the multibeast. Both CPU and graphics performance are very...

    Anybody try 10.7.3 yet?

    [Success] ECS 945GCT-M

I have V.3 of this board. Following haggle's advice, I installed with unibeast, then ran multi beast. Installed the Realtek driver (not the lnx2mac Realtek driver, but the 3rd option) to get ethernet, and the latest Voodoo worked for me for sound. However, I was stuck at 1024x768, and no...

Hibernate Image Too Old - ForceWake=y

Great. One of the top google hits for "forcewake=y" returns this useless thread. Thanks a lot.
