I have the GA-X79-UP4 motherboard. I lost audio when I updated to OS X 10.9.4 and tried to correct it by installing just the ALC892 audio driver with multibeast, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I've found the guides helpful so far, but a mixture of trial and error has been necessary to set the parameters for this build, even though it is a recommended set of hardware. To get to the Mac OS X configuration program I used these parameters (all on one line):
UseKextCache=Yes
npci=0x3000...
I have the same motherboard (GA-X79-UP4) and same video card (EVGA GTX 760). I removed all the RAM except for one stick to simplify the installation, but I am using the same parameters:
UseKextCache=Yes npci=0x3000 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No -f -v
And I consistently get to the Mac OS X install...
