I've just installed Sierra and everything's great except for the fact that I have to log out and log back in in order for the mouse to be able to hover over items and have a reaction such as the dock magnification or the red x cross appearing.
Any help would be much apreciated
The cpu's fine the temps are normal and I've got a h80 cooler on it and its not overclocked, my concerns stem from the fact that it never used to do these freezes and it feels like more of a glitch then it just been slow like somethings holding up for a second and although not specifically mac...
Hi
First off the power supply I have is an antec hcg-900 Ive had it since mid 2011 and I’m currently on 10.9.2 (13C64).
I’m going to get the iPhone 8 so I have to update my computer at the bare minimum to 10.9.5 but ideally would like to go to high sierra due to the whole h265 and heif stuff...
update: I changed the psu cables and now the computer is booting up fine every single time so it was a power supply issue, thanks to everyone for your help!
Ah right ok thanks, see the mavericks build I've got is 10.9 (13A603) and I notice on that list that its missing, also Im not sure but reading that stuff Im getting the feeling that 650's should be supported natively and I don't think any drivers were installed on the system that the 650 works...
Right I've changed the battery and theres no change it still isn't coming on, I cant even get into the bios with the 460 in I have to use the 650 which makes me think this is just a case of the graphics card being dead/dying. I don't mind buying another gpu just to get things working but my only...
Ok, I just happen to have lots of those cr 2032 batteries so I'll try it, I just want to get into the bios and take pictures of it so I don't lose the settings but Ill let you know if it works when I try it.
I have had this system since 2011 and had no problems until recently, a majority of the time when I turn the computer on the red light next to the gpu on the motherboard comes up and theres just a black screen and it doesn't go any further then that. Occasionally it is a cyan or a pink screen. I...
Hi
I had a working hackintosh for a few days but I installed andys p8p67 pro package as I wanted Bluetooth support but it stopped my system from booting so as I've only had it a few days I don't have much data. How do I get the data off the osx drive (a download or 2, 5 or so applications and...
Thanks for replying, regarding the title, it was 3 am when I wrote this and my head wanted to go to sleep and my body wanted to stay awake or vies versatile and at the time I just wanted a bit of help but again sorry if it appeared rude.

I had a working mackintosh for a few days but wanted Bluetooth so installed andys p8p67 pro package and now it won't boot in normal mode the error is "acpi smc platform plugin" and in safe mode it docent even get past the bold text and stops when it mentions FireWire.
The reason for the title...
Was going to ask how as on my iPhone when I tried editing I couldn't change the title but now on Snow Leopard (wich I wouldn't be able to of had without this amazing site and community) I can.
Re: Audio not working P8P67 pro
I got it fixed, I was releasing AppleHDA kekt but that never worked so I deleted AppleHDA kext and HDA892 kext then used multibeast and restarted so now it's all fine.
First off sorry for creating many topics in one day but I feel that they are separate issues so.
Just simply ,after deleting the Apple HDA kext I opened multibeast and selected AppleHD Rollback,ALC8xx HDA and ALC892 and the audio is there, very muffled but it is "working" to a certain degree...
Hi
This is my first hackintosh but not my first attempt, originally I went into an apple re seller shop and wanted a mac so had to wait till Christmas,I looked at prebuilt systems and relised the value was much better, in the end I built a gaming computer not specifically a hackintosh. When it...
Could you help me a bit further please, I tried partitioning it and installing osx I mucked up the windows partition so just wiped the hard drive so now I'm installing it on a clean hard drive and it still won’t work. Here are the steps I took
1. Insert iBoot
2. Turn on computer
3. When iBoot...
relating to your previous post I do trust you but why can we only have a duel boot by installing osx first then partition and install windows and not the other way around?
Since I went ATI, I've never had the fermi problem.
Search user builds for someone with your mobo and a fermi card - bound to be one there somewhere
Search the other forums for guides also, including the Sandy Bridge forum.
If you are doing a duel boot could you explain how chameleon...
