I also did my regular prep before updating to new MacOS. First I updated clover to r4658 and then I couldn't boot. When I select MacOS from Clover boot menu, the screen stays black. In verbose mode it doesn't state anything about a kernel panic. Just hangs... I can't even boot using safe mode...
Managed to work out the issue with this fix:

Thanks @schlameel, your method worked for me! Now running 10.12.1 16B2657 with the latest Nvidia web drivers.
Also Nvidia updated their CUDA drivers and they're working great: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-cuda-8.0.51-driver.html
Well this is awesome.
Nvidia's latest driver is only compatible with: macOS 10.12.1 (16B2555)
The newest version of macOS is: macOS 10.12.1 (16B2657) which was installed when I downloaded the Combo update. I had no idea there would be this kind of problem since both MacOS versions are 10.12.1...
Turned out that my old M-Audio Fasttrack Pro USB audio interface was the problem. When I unplugged it and used onboard audio, Premiere doesn't freeze anymore.
Since I need an USB audio interface, I will probably buy a Focusrite Scarlett. It has El Capitan support.
It works like a charm without any drivers (the ones you get from M-Audio's website). I just plug it in and it works. Only problem is the Premiere incompatibility.
If I try to install the M-Audio drivers from their website, everything breaks.
Thanks. Yeah everything works fine when I scrub through the timeline. The preview video play according to the scrubbing. Only problem is when I hit space (video preview doesn't play).
I have to check my audio preferences. I'm running a USB audio interface (M-Audio Fasttrack Pro).
I have this problem with Adobe Premiere CC. OpenCL, CUDA or Mercury Software acceleration, none of them work. When previewing footage in Premiere, the timeline freezes and doesn't play. Only solution is to quit Premiere and open it again. The freezing seems to occur whenever I'm doing something...

I have the same problem. I just purchased GTX 970 and I'm thinking of returning it. Can anyone predict how long will it take to get it working on a Hack?
You aren't experiencing these El Capitan sleep problems with an AMD card? How?

Looks very unpromising. Seems like there's no workaround for sleep to work with AMD cards.

Currently I'm sticking with Yosemite and wake from sleep works with R9 280X. Maybe in the far future I will be...
Great build! I recently updated my mobo to Z97X-Gaming 5. I'm running Clover and can't get ethernet to work. I have tried with and without an ethernet kext. I probably should try Multibeast...
