For anyone interested, I actually got my S30 working as well on Sierra 12.6. Again, everything working except audio [which is of little consequence to me]. If you have any questions, hit me up!

So, I was able to get sierra installed, but only kind of by chance. And I don't have audio working [don't need it] and USB 2 ports aren't working either... Did you get any further @tnxgalaxy ?

That is a definite possibility. There's been so little testing and experience that it's hard to say. I'm hoping to get my hands on a d20 sometime in the next few months (really want a d30, but we'll see) so I'll let you know. Sorry I couldn't help more...
