Can not boot into MacOS after trying to install AppleALC kext

I ended up re-installing Mojave and it's working a lot better. One issue though. It seems my kext location for Fake SMC, Lilu etc, are in a different location than where Clover shows them, Clover shows the kexts in an EFI folder, but, If I go to /Library/Extensions, I see FakeSMC, Lilu...

Can not boot into MacOS after trying to install AppleALC kext

I tried this again, and I can't boot to anything, not Recovery, Safe Mode, nothing. Is there any way to boot from a Mojave installer thumb drive, etc, and get access to one of the kext folders or Terminal, etc, and try and delete it that way? The only other choice I see is to just wipe the OS...

Can not boot into MacOS after trying to install AppleALC kext

No idea what happened, but I tried installing the AppleALC kext from Multibeast and got an error. Before I could look at the log, I rebooted the machine, and now, when I choose my MacHD APFS drive from the Clover boot menu, my monitor goes blank and that's as far as I can get. Same thing happens...

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H has anyone updated to the last available beta BIOS? [SOLVED]

It did, yes :) The only things I have now are my Mojave SSD drive and 3 internal drives used for storage. (Not sure why those 3 are shown, as they don't have an OS on them, and aren't bootable) Still, it's night and day difference.

Yes, I did those, (at least the ones that were available in the BIOS after flashing) I adjusted the options I saw. The ones I marked as N/A are not shown to me. Disable Fast Boot - Yes Secure Boot - N/A Serial/COM Port - N/A Parallel Port - N/A VT-d (can be enabled if you set DisableIoMapper...

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H has anyone updated to the last available beta BIOS? [SOLVED]

Thank you for the correction, and additional info! Hopefully that's the fix for the dupe entries. Update: I was on F5, updated to F8, giant boot list gone! All I have for boot options now are now are my OS drive and internal audio/storage drives, which I believe have UEFI folders on them or...

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H. Any idea how to clear out the now 20 entries in the boot list, shown when you press the delete key on startup? 90% of these entries are from previous builds/drives/thumbdrives etc that no longer exist.

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

[Solved] I found an older thread which said to set the OS calendar year to the same year as Multibeast, 2019 in this case. Once I did that, no more failures. Hopefully helpful to someone.

I got through the Mojave install to my SSD, and have booted to the SSD/OS via mu USB drive. I'm trying to install the basic stuff from Multibeast UEFI Mode, nothing else, and it fails every time, and tells me to look at the logs. Where are the logs? I did a search on my drive, but nothing...
