I'm 99% sure they are not on an NTFS drive because the drive cannot be seen on the Windows 7 boot of my computer.
That said... if for some reason it were NTFS, how can I repair the issue?
Using the new DSDT for the Maximus III Gene, everything works... except I can't empty the trash. Haha. Otherwise works great. I don't know if the problem is related to the DSDT or not.
For some reason my hackintosh will not empty the trash. I don't get it. I've even tried Secure Empty Trash and all kind of mac tricks with terminal that I could find online. Nothing.
I even reformatted and loaded from Time Machine again. No dice.
Anyone have an answer?
Correct. It should work fine. If you read his entire article and other people's posts, the same chipsets made by different companies should work fine too.
I bought an Apple one very cheaply, though. It works great.

It's definitely feasible... because anything is possible if you know what you're doing. But if you don't go for a board that is known to work, it could be very difficult (or very easy).

I know you would have done a different board... but I love this one! I'm a huge ASUS fan. I know that I probably should have done something else for complete compatability... but I think this will treat me just fine for what I want to do! :)
