ZYPHRAX! I have the same mobo and just went back 10.9.5 but after reading your message I want to give Yosemite another shot. Although I don't think I have the cajone's just yet.
Hey guys... So Yosemite installs fine and if I run multibeast I can select any option without issue but if I select TRIM and then build, when I restart I get the grey screen with the circle crossed out and I can't do anything and am forced to re-install. I'm using a GA-Z77X-UD3H and the ssd is...
I have the same issue as you with my Z77X motherboard needing the USB stick. If you notice when you boot into OS X and launch Messages, put in your password and hit cancel right away. Then hit sign in again.. iMessage will now sign in and you'll get the screen that says iMessage and you can be...
Yes I originally installed it with Multibeast and then did the standalone installer now. So what you suggested worked by manually opening it and saving it. Now when I open the file it shows the settings have saved however when I boot through the USB now it doesn't look like quiet boot works. It...
Ok I will try Chimera on its own one more time before unplugging the Windows drive and trying that method.
I haven't unplugged the Windows drive yet and tried that
That's funny.. I just found your post suggesting that in another thread so I did it but I get an error that I attached:
I like this method. I'm trying to cut down the steps. Right now after I press F12, I have to hit 3 keys to pick the USB drive, then the bootloader shows up and I have to go 4 right to the Mavericks drive, and then it boots up. I know 7 keys what's the big deal but if it can be better, why not...
Vague in this context is an opinion. I answered the question to the best of my ability. If someone considers that vague, it is their judgement, not the truth. What I said about copied other peoples settings I then followed up with what I actually did which was select DSDT free and only the...
Bob you have been the most unhelpful and rude person I have come across in these forums that up until now have been filled with kind people. I answered your questions and you respond with vague I'm done. Why bother posting at all if your intent is to only give people the run around. I guess...
I read what other people with the same MB did and copied them. When I chose EasyBeast or UserDSDT, the installation wouldn't work. So I went without DSDT and only needed to select the proper Audio drivers and everything works perfectly minus the bootup sequence.
Ok Bob here goes! This was the link I used: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
So my current method of booting up is just like step 5. I power on, press F12, select the USB drive, then I scroll through all my hard drives to get to...
Yes that is exactly my issue! My system is a gigabyte Z77X-UD3H. I followed the guide on here using multibeast. The default boot drive is my windows ssd. I'd like to either boot directly into Mavericks without pressing anything or even if I had to press F12 for the boot menu and selecting the...
Hey guys... any help would be appreciated. My system only boots into Windows, if I want to get into OS X I have to hit F12, select my USB drive and then the next screen comes up where I have to scroll right through all my hard drives to select Mavericks. I've been doing it like this for 6...
