[GUIDE] Full Power Management w/ Dual/Single Broadwell-EP/Haswell-EP CPUs on 10.12.

@metacollin, it's been almost a year since my last post. Thanks a LOT for all your contributions. I have not, sadly, had a chance to work on this, so my build lies depreciating. :) Has anyone got 10.14 Mojave working yet on the X10DA*?

[GUIDE] Full Power Management w/ Dual/Single Broadwell-EP/Haswell-EP CPUs on 10.12.

@metacollin, quick question: Did you disable the automatic HFS+ to APFS conversion, or are you running APFS? Or did you upgrade from Sierra to High Sierra and not get the mandatory conversion to APFS? I know APFS is nice but risky for Hackintoshes. Thanks!

[GUIDE] Full Power Management w/ Dual/Single Broadwell-EP/Haswell-EP CPUs on 10.12.

YOU ARE DA MAN!!! I’m gonna get on it ASAP. But ASAP doesn’t mean what it used to, with a 3 month old infant. Thanks SO MUCH though! Once this is working, maybe I can justify splurging on the new Space Gray Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad to better match my all black Hackintosh. :)

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

After struggling to find the right chipset with the right adapter to PCI-e, I found a seller on AliExpress that bundles PCI-e adapter, antennas in chipsets, BCM94360CSAX, BCM943602CS, BCM94331. They must be out of stock on the 94360CD which they state has better quality antennas than the...

[GUIDE] Full Power Management w/ Dual/Single Broadwell-EP/Haswell-EP CPUs on 10.12.

@metacollin, are you running High Sierra yet? Do you have any updates to this guide? You're my only hope, Obi-Wan Kenobi. I gave up about 1.5 years ago because I was getting a blinking cursor on boot, couldn't even install OS X. Plus I got busy with other things. Recently I got serious again...

Are the Supermicro X10DAC and MBD-X10DRC series motherboards hackable

I don't have a working Hackintosh yet, but... point of clarification, I have a Supermicro X10DAX, it runs AMI BIOS. From my manual: 16MB AMI SPI BIOS® (Dual: X10DAX, One: X10DAi/ X10DAC)

[GUIDE] Full Power Management w/ Dual/Single Broadwell-EP/Haswell-EP CPUs on 10.12.

Hey Metacollin, your patched BIOS sounds amazing. Would you be willing to post it? Do you think it would work on my X10DAX too? Just trying to revive my project. Maybe this (MSR 0xE2 locked) was the problem I was initially having? If you don't wish to post your patched BIOS OR if it won't work...

Thanks! I didn't know about that. I'll check it out.

The "Official" C612 (aka lets built the machine Apple never gave us)

Since @metacollin hasn't had a chance to create a guide, I'm following the guide he suggested earlier in the thread, brumbaer's: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312364-guide-el-capitan-on-asrock-x99e-itxac-using-a-5960x/ So far last night I got as far as putting together the installer...

The "Official" C612 (aka lets built the machine Apple never gave us)

Amazing progress guys! It's encouraging to see so many others going down the same path as I did (E5-26XX / Supermicro X10***). I gave up about a year ago, but it may be time to pick it up again. @metacollin, have you had a chance to create a guide? It would sure be appreciated. Thanks in...

    Dual Xeon Motherboard Recommendations 01.2015

I've back burnered this thing for a long time because I couldn't even load the Mac OS Installer... Just checked back in and I see progress has been made on dual Xeon setups (though I don't see any with my mobo, Supermicro X10DAX), and the lifting of the core limit sounds awesome. I'll try to...

x10dax board for a Hackintosh workstation

Wow, can't believe it's been a year since I last worked on this. I was back trying to see if anyone else has had any success with the Supermicro X10DAX and dual Xeon E5's. @PunkNugget, I had the SR-2 with dual Xeons too! But I - through some mixup - was using low end quad core 2.0 GHz chips...

x10dax board for a Hackintosh workstation

I have this motherboard, not having much success even booting the Yosemite USB boot stick; tried both Unibeast and Clover, multiple boot flags, so far no go. So this motherboard would be a great choice once Apple updates OS X to support Haswell-E chips and the Intel C612 chipset. I'm just about...

The "Official" C612 (aka lets built the machine Apple never gave us)

Calling on Stinga11... any possibility of creating a patch for the C612 chipset like you did for the X99 chipset? Or should the X99 patch for Haswell-E work also for the C612? Is Clover's HaswellE patch the same or equivalent to your X99 patch? Thanks in advance.

    Clover Haswell-E Patch

I have a C612 chipset with dual Xeon E5-2699 v3s, tried the HaswellE patch: Haswell-E patch -v slide=0 dart=0 ncpi=0x3000/0x2000 (tried both) cpus=1 kext-dev-mode=1 alone still nets me a kernel panic. Tried with fake Haswell CPUID, no longer panicking, just hangs after "root device uuid...

    +1. I'm with you, man, only I've already bought a C612-based motherboard, Supermicro X10DAX. I need help!

iboot and chimera not booting - blinking cursor

Thanks, dmbpettit. That did the trick for me as well... I was stuck on the blinking white cursor on my initial Unibeast boot on my build. I should have known better, but I simply had too much stuff plugged in... 6 HDDs, 3 SSDs, 2 CPUs. I still got a kernel panic, but I never even got this far...

    Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10

Hi Stinga11, I'm realizing tonight - 99% into my build - that there's no OS X support for my chipset. I chose my Intel C612-based Supermicro X10DAX because I've seen successful Supermicro X9-based builds and because the X10DAX supports dual Haswell-E Xeons, Thunderbolt, and SLI. But now I find...
