Try to see what's wrong there with adding the "-v" flag to your boot flags. Also you can try the "-x" flag. Do you use single monitor or dual?

Will I be able to install 10.10.2 if I don't have the on-board video card? Only if I have Gigabyte GTX 980. I use Asus P9X79 (motherboard) there's no on-board video card.

What is your boot flags? Try to load with nv_disable=1 with video card plugged in.
