Yes true.. I had to read the forums, to know later, that an exchange of the OsxAptioFix driver will be neccessary.. Fortunately a hackintosh is not the main control-instance of an atomic power plant.. :)
Was able to fix it by myself, by downgrading Clover from 3354 to 3280. (During install of 10.11.4 I upgraded Clover from 3280 to 3354).
So with
* Clover 3280: system boots as it did since 10.7
* Clover 3354: system crashes during boot, while loading HD3000 display driver
Will try the...
Hi, updated to 10.11.4 today and it seems to cause problems with my hdmi audio setup, which I realized via patched DSDT for years. Anybody else got these problems? Hope it will be possible to be fixed - was very happy with the hdmi setup.
I have the same situation. Very frustating situation.. Tried to get hdmi/dp audio back to working for several hours, but faied.. Hope there will be a solution. Was vers happy with hdmi audio.
tl;dr: Is it possible to get the onboard audio working, without having any unsigned kext in /S/L/E or /Library/Extensions?
Hi,
still using Stork's Zorro Build in nearly the exact configuration as mentioned in the OP and it served me very well in the past years - big thanks to all who made...
So, after a weekend of experimenting I managed to upgrade to 10.10 on my Zorro. I use the i7 HD300 and Audio via HDMI/Display Port. Till now everything works almost perfect.
To get imessage working I had to switch to Clover, which was the most difficult part. Clover does not come with...
Why ist 'EmuVariableUefi-64' not selected in the final Clover install on the bootdisk? It gets included in Step2-17, when the USB Stick is prepared.
I guess that 'EmuVariableUefi-64' is necessary for NVRAM variables to work (imessage etc..)
I can reproduce the same problem, also with latest Chimera 2.1.1.
Its "Scan Single Drive" (with the white-spaces). key/value Scan Single Drive = yes fixes the problem.
OK - seems under EFI, the modifications of AppleRTC.kext are not necessary anymore. After restoring the original AppleRTC.kext, the CMOS resets are gone.
Have made the changes mentioned in this toleda tutorial.

Only problem till now: Had some strange power-cycles after restart or wakeup from sleep. After the powercycles I had to reconfigure the efi-settings. Reminds me of old days of cmos resets after sleep.
Before update zu efi I had problems, when dealing with large files (eg. 14gb mp4...
Just ugraded to U1h(UEFI BIOS) on my Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3. Everything seems to work fine.
Made a DSDT for H3000 HDMI/DisplayPort Audio, which I attach to this posting. Audio via HDMI seems to work perfectly, using MultiBeast's 4.6.1 'Patched AppleHDA' Kext.
Use on your own risk - I am not...
Re: New Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC 889 on Lion
Installed as described and works like a charm - also using Audio via DisplayPort. :headbang: Thanks!

Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion
Why don't you use the internal HD3000 graphics and remove the Radeon completely, so its noise will be gone?
Re: Stork's Sandy Bridge Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000 - Lion
Got it working! This is just awsome! :headbang: It was really easy! Look at: viewtopic.php?p=253391#p253391

I also attach the DSDT for GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Bios F9, including Tony's mods for making HDMI Audio work.
So...
Sorry for the noob question: Will I get Audio via HD3000 - DisplayPort, if I make HDMI audio work, using tony's instructions?
Have to use DisplayPort, because this is the only port of my mb (GA-Z68X-UD3H) that outputs the resolution of 2560x1440 of my screen (Dell Ultrasharp U2711).
Update...
HD3000 Display Port Audio
One question - didn't find any info using the search function:
Have to use the DisplayPort connector, since this is the only port of this mainboard that outputs the resolution for my Dell Ultrasharp U2711 of 2560x1440.
Is audio somehow possible via DisplayPort or...
