DW1830 Bluetooth not available (power saving issue?)

On my Lenovo Thinkpad x250 I have the same problem: Bluetooth works fine when AC is attached, but without AC on battery no Bluetooth hardware is available. I have in /L/E/ - BrcmFirmwareData - BrcmPatchRAM2

    [Solved] H370 10.13.4 - Sleep now works

I have problems with this website not working properly, so I hope I can answer this time. @canyondust: I tried AptioMemoryFix.efi and I'm also running it now, but it alone did not help. @aberracus: Sound works for me when using the latest FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext and then...

    [Solved] H370 10.13.4 - Sleep now works

This website is super slow for me once logged in, even replies get lost in the process of posting. I'll try again: At the moment I'm testing ssd hotpatching for removing the _PWR function from the dsdt and it seems to work. Rehabman offers an extensive guide for hotpatching. That means that...

    [Solved] H370 10.13.4 - Sleep now works

Update: Made it work by adding RC scripts and EmuVariableUefi-64.efi via the Clover installer. It also required more DSDT edits.

Mobo with H370 chipset will WORK or NOT?

Yes, in BIOS 64MB works. More breaks the boot process of MacOS. I'm getting closer to fix the sleep problem, I think it's NVRAM, which needs to be emulated for either H370 systems or my Gigabyte board. For now sleep works if I emulate NVRAM.

    H370, B360 and H310 motherboards

I'm using an Gigabyte H370 D3H rev 1.0 and also have problems with sleep. It takes forever for the system to "fall" asleep One in three times it stays asleep Two out of three times it reboots immediately after appearing to have fallen asleep One out three times when it sleeps properly and...

Mobo with H370 chipset will WORK or NOT?

I am the other guy :) Sleep is being super weird, sometimes it works, sometimes it reboots... I'm losing my mind over this Regarding DVMT Pre-Alloc: I cannot set it to higher than 64MB, but iGPU still works and I can enter 10.13 with only the iGPU running - without the DVMT Fixup kext.

    [Guide] Patching LAPTOP DSDT/SSDTs

Thanks to your guide, I was able to create a DSDT that enables (at least so far) proper sleep on my system. I used the following patches: Shutdown Fix v2 Fix _WAK Arg0 v2 Shutdown restart (might not be needed) USB3 _PRW 0x6D Skylake (instant wake) Manually copied the patched _PRW method of...

    [Solved] H370 10.13.4 - Sleep now works

I tried darkwake=0,4,10 and fixshutdown_004 is active in my current config.plist It's random: Sometimes it sleeps properly and wakes up properly, sometimes it reboots immediatly, sometimes it wakes up and reboots after 10 seconds.

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

You are correct, so I carried on. Unfortunately, the mere 10.13-Coffee_Audio_Controller patch for config.plist did not enable a Codec, but rehabman's FakePCIID.kext & FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext did. I installed them to /L/E instead of C/kexts/others, then sleep worked for a bit (I won't...

    [Solved] H370 10.13.4 - Sleep now works

Update: I have identified FakePCIID.kext in combination with FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext to be the culprit for missing sleep. If add those two, I have working sound, but then the system wakes itself up immediately after falling asleep, which takes 30seconds to 1minute.

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

That I cannot answer. The ioreg file has a HDEF@1F,3 device. This is the state I have when having the plist patch for 300 series in place. The missing codec also makes your audio_cloverALC-130_v0.5 deny running since no audio codec is found. How else could I create meaningful data to debug the...

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

I have an H370 based motherboard with an 887 codec. I tried 10.13 coffee audio plist patch and the linked SSDTs SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml (but not at the same time) Result: HDEF appears as device, but no codec is installed, so the audio_cloverALC-130 refused to install. Sleep works in this...

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

Thanks for the guide, now I have my custom SSDT in place and ioreg shows me only the correct USB devices as I put them into the SSDT. For my (new) system, sleep doesn't work. I'm not sure if its related to USB in any way, but I do get these ACPI messages:

I'm also facing the issue that the HS0x devices cannot be expanded, show no device connected. I'm running an H370 Motherboard with USBInjectAll and the 300 series injector. Sleep ain't working, most USB ports do. . My Board doesn't have EHC or EH ports, only XHC appear

    [SOLVED] Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/1070

Damn, what a weird move by Apple. Maybe they are cooking something up themselves or that want to control, per usual, the experience as tightly and having eGPUs running fine would diminish the incentive to buy a) a more expensive GPU and b) upgrading less frequently. But still weird. Can they...

    [SOLVED] Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/1070

I think Nvidia is completely likely and in the right to ignore the request by a community violating the license of an OEM. Having said that, with the akitio node, bizonbox, wolfe on the horizon and others already on the market the demand for and maturity of eGPU solutions is increasing. I...

    [SOLVED] Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/1070

eGPU is our best bet, hopefully 2017 it will take off. Looking at "thewolfe" and it's support for Maxwell, it might take the better part of 2017 for eGPU casings to become relevant enough. They are the best option for pro users and hopefully Mac owners in the need for speed will make their voice...
