Try removing all of your audio Kexts. Rebuild kext cache reboot and see if it is still that high.

If you open activity monitor and sory by cpu consumption is Kernel_Task taking up a majority of the cpu resources?

I have the same card. Some days I have bluetooth.. Others not so much. No rhyme or reason to it as rebuilding kext cache, reboots etc do not fix. Today is a bluetooth day.. so that is nice. :)

So I am able to reproduce your Overheating and high cpu condition, but only after wake from sleep. If I do a fresh reboot it is fine until I put the system to sleep. Did you run your benchmarks on a clean boot or after it had been put to sleep?

Your CPU looks like it is floored. Does it ever go under 3ghz? I can see you have several chrome tabs open.. but it looks like it had been that freq for a bit.. Try closing everything and seeing if speedstep works and if the freq comes down.

The 10.13.X clover pack from Darkvoid has an issue where the keyboard doesn't work at bootup on uhd touchscreen systems (but brightness keys and volume do). You have to put the machine to sleep or use an external keyboard and then it works fine. Touching the Screen during bootup seems to fix...
