I tried reinstalling, erasing SSD and reinstalling. I looked through many of the options in Clover but it's all Greek to me. Years ago when I put this thing together I had 2 months to prepare for it and knew exactly what to do by copying a build here exactly. Now I simply haven't got the time...

I'm running OSX 10.8.5 and would like to update to Yosimite. Unfortunately I can't get Unibeast to work at all. I have downloaded it several times but every time I try to run it I get '“UniBeast.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.' Any suggestions?

Finally got Win7 installed and working. It let me install on the SSD I formatted with ML but it wouldn't let me boot from it. I reformatted the SSD with the Win7 installer USB and everything is running very well, now. Thank you all for your help :-)

Ahem.... OSX ML works out of the box. 20 minute install and it's perfect. BUT every time I try to install Windows it kills the whole machine in 1 way or another. I am now on my eleventeenth reformatting and reinstalling of bloody everything. Ironic that I have to ask, how do I make windows 7...

Thanks for the reply. I breathe a bit easier, now. I planned to experiment with OCing the CPU in little baby steps and getting temp readings to decide on the cooler. That's way down the line, though. First I've got to get it working :-)

I am looking at almost exactly this build myself. The shop has two gtx 680 models, the OC and the SOC. Are they the same as regular 680s in terms of verified working or would the over clocking muck things up?
