yeah i can only really get it working in 2K which i have no problem with but i've definitely had it displaying before. not a huge deal in the long-term i suppose.
Ok well it appeared to be my monitor?
I unplugged it from my LG 4K and plugged the HDMI into my MSI 2K and it showed up on my 2K no issue.
Not sure what that means but i suppose i'm going to have to do more searching on that front.
Thank you again for all you do. How can i repay you for all...

No joy :(
ahh ok i'm using the EFI you sent me a bit back which worked in the 8700k system with iGPU. I would assume the ig-platform-id is different for the 9900k?
Edit: attached zip of OC EFI from previous post :)
Here is the last readout i see before the screen goes black
Only other changes I made outside of the upgrade from the i7 8700k to the i9 9900k was that I installed a larger AiO cooler that is now using F_USB1 for what i can only assume is data and RGB. I just wanted to throw that in, in case...
So I replaced my 8700K with a 9900K and i can't seem to get this to work now :( do i need to edit anything in the last EFI you priovided me to make this boot? right now i'm just getting the NO symbol when booting.
I may have to just toss my fenvi t919 back in if i need continuity etc.
Wireless seemed to have worked but there appears to be a lot more work to do on it.
:)
@pastychef this seems to be a new thing considering I'm utilizing the CNVI on the motherboard. Would there be something that would have to be enabled to allow bluetooth to be seen?
I'm using your configuration with itlwm_v1.0.0_stable.kext, IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext, and...
Sure thing!
I think that I'm not seeing success with this intel wireless and bluetooth kext (mostly because I'm not seeing them installed)
is there anything that would not have the CNVI enabled or something?
EDIT: Using HeliPort with the IntelWireless kext. It for sure works! Now to...
It worked! I need to do some post-installation and I'll let you know how it all went.
The only kext I'm adding to this is the newly stable Intel wireless kext (here https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless) as I have the CNFI card that is suggested for this board.
ahh yes!
is there anything I need to change in the EFI to accommodate iGPU over dGPU in your zip files? I know at one point you linked an iGPU setup for Clover, but I've been setting up for using OC but not totally sure if there is anything else that needs addressing in the settings for iGPU +...
It's been a minute but I have an issue I'm trying to sort out. It may be basic but I also have a minor learning disability so here goes.
I'm going to use your OC0.6.0 zip though I have a few questions:
In my tower, I have a 2080 that I'll clearly not be using. Is there a setting or patch I...
perfect. all working now.
I have another question i may just be missing. Is there a way to keep the BIOS from selecting the Windows boot? It seems to "steal" it and i have to go back to set the boot order to my macOS/efi drive
I tried updating to 10.15.5 last night and got a black screen despite editing the igpu platform-id
I just copied and put this EFI in my folder and now I'm getting a shutdown notice. And an eventual shutdown. Super stumped
I can get that far, I just can't get it properly display at 60Hz. Stuff just goes blank.
Edit: I can get 1440p working on "low resolution" mode at 60Hz
weird.
