BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Thanks RehabMan, I uninstalled Android File Transfer and still had the issue when I woke the laptop up this morning. Feb 14 10:08:47 nuudells kernel[0]: BrcmPatchRAM2: Version 2.2.3 starting on OS X Darwin 15.3. Feb 14 10:08:47 nuudells kernel[0]: BrcmPatchRAM2: [0930:0223]: USB [24FD528DE699...

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Another log from today. The first set of logs from 09:22 is a cold boot where things are working fine, then at 13:47 I woke the machine from sleep and Bluetooth was no longer working: nuudells :: ~ » grep -y brcmpatch /var/log/system.log Feb 12 09:22:40 localhost kernel[0]...

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

I've been using BrcmPatchRAM2 and it works great on the initial boot, however I've noticed that there's a high probability after the laptop has been asleep for a while that when I wake it up the Bluetooth is no longer working ("Bluetooth: Not available"). Sometimes it works fine after waking...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

Thanks for your help so far. It looks like when I was disabling all the Clover fixes, I disabled the NewWay_80000000 flag, which meant that the AddPNLF_1000000 bit wasn't being checked. I re-enabled that and the IntelBacklight.kext is working now: Oct 1 15:30:56 localhost kernel[0]...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

OK, I've installed the IntelBacklight.kext in my CLOVER kexts and I'm still getting this message in my system.log. I've also disabled almost all of the Fixes. Only left AddPNLF_1000000 on. Oct 1 15:10:53 localhost kernel[0]: IntelBacklight: IntelBacklightPanel not found (PNLF patch...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

That's because I'm manually kextloading it while I test it before I install it for actual use.

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

I'm trying to keep my /S/L/E completely vanilla. Most of the kexts I have are all in the /EFI/CLOVER/kexts, with the exception of maybe the "org.rehabman.driver.AppleSmartBatteryManager" kext I'm testing. nuudells :: ~ » ls /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.11 CodecCommander.kext...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

I didn't install ACPIBacklight; only trying to use IntelBacklight. As far as SIP is concerned, my config has it as you can see in the attachment: <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>BooterConfig</key> <string>0x28</string>...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

Any idea why it's not wanting to start up? I'm still getting the "IntelBacklight: IntelBacklightPanel not found (PNLF patch missing?)... aborting" message, even as my brightness is working after a sleep.

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

Interestingly enough, after playing around with it some more, I can get brightness going by only using the AddPNLF_1000000 (not even doing the graphics_PNLF_haswell patch); I didn't even need the new IntelBacklight.kext. I did have to put the device to sleep once and then suddenly the brightness...

    New Brightness kext, IntelBacklight.kext

Hello RehabMan! Thanks for this new kext! I've been trying to make it work for me on my XPS 12 9Q33 (Haskell) laptop, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've tried enabling the AddPNLF_1000000 flag in my Clover config.plist: <key>AddPNLF_1000000</key>...

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Thanks RehabMan! I did a cold boot this time and it looks like I got the right firmware, but I'm still having the same problem where I'm not seeing any of my Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth System Preferences panel. Here's my current system.log: Jul 8 13:56:25 nuudells kernel[0]...

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

I'm having problems getting my Bluetooth working. After inserting the BrcmPatchRAM.kext, my Bluetooth icon lit up and everything looks good in my System Profiler, but when I try to pair it with any devices, nothing shows up in the Bluetooth preferences. Is there something I can do to figure out...

[Guide] Dell XPS 13 9333 using Clover

[GUIDE] Dell XPS 13 9333 Hi All, I've been following along and this thread has helped me tremendously! I've got an XPS 12 9Q33 which looks to be pretty similar to the XPS 13 here. A couple things that have helped me, in case they prove to be helpful: My sleep has been relatively consistent...

ACPIBatteryManager on XPS 12 (9Q33) in Yosemite

Unfortunately I don't have Mavericks available right now, so I'll have to try the other route. In this testing, is there a way to unload the kext without restarting? I've never been able to do that thus far and if I'm churning through many tests it'd be nice not to have to reboot every time...
