Isn't NVRAM emulated? How can it survive hard resets?

BIOS: I've disabled my current hackintosh disk. Plugged in a brand new disk to a clean Monterey install, used open core (-v) verbose. Went fine. Disconnected the disk. BIOS: enabled my old hackintosh disk back. Old clover boot is now in VERBOSE mode!!! How come? Is this magic?

I think I have finally find the solution to many of the issues on the failing Windows installs: it's not enough to create a Rufus Windows 10 UEFI USB flash drive, you need to make the UEFI partition an EFI System partition, like this: diskpart select disk x select part x set...
