Very easy update here (Clover 5126)

I have also followed 1Revenger1 "guide", removing slide=0 (the slide quirks were already enabled) and adding the SSDT-PCM.aml you've posted, then updated to Clover 5126. Everything seem to work nicely, NVRAM working, shutdown and reboots too.

If BigSur has been developed to better work on the new ARM processors, most of the actual "non-Apple" software should run in emulation with Rosetta 2. Is upgrading really worth? Or better staying with Catalina forever?

Yes, you can try it. The emuvariable is the only difference with my actual EFI. I would suggest you to backup somewhere your actual EFI before trying this!

Yes, I have shutdown / reboot / sleep again. Did it worked with your previous memory driver before OCQuirks?

That might depend on other things in your sys and clover config... Did you try with "fix shutdown" option too?

I only had some difficulties switching from Clover r5119 to r512x because of the new OCQuirks and some power management issues. After finding a solution I could easily update as usual!

Ok, I've found a solution myself! Googling some more, I've found that a missing EmuVariableUefi.efi could lead to some NVRAM issues, also related with the shutdown process. Adding it solved my problem. Now the system can correctly shutdown with OCQuirks stuff. :)

I can successfully boot with Clover r5120, but the wake up doesn't work anymore, and the shut down takes ages to complete (sometimes doesn't even work).

There might be a mess specially with graphic and video config. It was originally optimized for a Vega64. When it died, I had to replace it with a 5700 XT.

Thanks! I got a significant improvement on Geekbench 5 score. However the score is still quite low compared with others with my same hardware configuration. This might be due to some poor clover config configuration.
