Do you have Mojave installed on the Z270X-UD5? If so, is there a guide for doing that? I'm looking to do a fresh install on my config but not finding anything for my particular configuration for Mojave.
Have you installed IntelGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext ?
I get 1080p30 HiDPI over HDMI as well. Now I'm using 1080p@30 HiDPI over DisplayPort since with 60hz the black screen glitch makes the computer pretty much unusable.
Ok, so I played around with different settings some more and finallly I have 4k@60hz running over DisplayPort.
I'm using 18.3 SMBIOS.
change GFX0 to IGPU patch
- disablegfxfirmware in BOOT
- 0x59128086 in Devices -> IntelGFX
- 0x59120000 in Graphics -> ig-platform-id
- Inject Intel - On in...
This sounds similar to the DisplayPort problem I'm having with my HD 630. Did you find a solution for it?
It might help to also add your system info to the dedicated fields in your profile, not just as a single line as you have right now: Z170i-Pro Gaming | i5 6500 | HD 530
The behaviour is the same when GFX0 to IGPU is enabled or disabled. When using DisplayPort the monitor loses signal while in the screen with the white apple logo and the preloader before login. I tried various combinations of Clover configurations to get it working but no success so far.
After disabling Inject Intel and GFX to IGPU patch I am able to get 4k resolution over hdmi but only @30hz. Display port still behaves in the same way. I'll post an update once I get it to work.
Thank you for your reply and this awesome guide. :headbang:
My screen is an LG 4k 27UD58. After correcting the pre-allocated ram like flavios1996 suggested the OS recognises the 630 HD correctly.
But I have another problem. I can't get 4k at all on HDMI, and when using DisplayPort after the OS...
Hi! I have the same motherboard and processor as you. After doing the same post-install steps as you I get a kernel panic. Did you by encounter this as well by any chance?
