Thank you! I think this is the only helpful reply I’ve ever received on these forums.

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Anyone know where to download the Mojave installer? The App store link doesn’t work (as in, nothing comes up in the App Store) when accessed via my 10.13.6 equipped Mid 2012 5,1 Mac Pro running a 8GB Radeon RX580 when signed into the App Store. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    High Sierra Wifi: TP-Link TL-WN881ND

Has anyone ever gotten this to work in High Sierra 10.13.6??? I followed the procedure from the Dec 7, 2018 post, in addition to replacing the AirportAtheros40.kext with the one from the Apr 27, 2019 post, but still nothing works. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

MSI B360I Gaming Pro – USB unresponsive at login/welcome

Update: (yaay prepare for a fun read!!! HAHAHA!!!) Somehow I managed to get the thing to get all the way to the “Welcome”/“Select your country” screen. But that’s where the fun really starts. The USB just stops working. Unless there’s some special Easter Egg “don’t turn off USB once my OS...

MSI B360I Gaming Pro – USB unresponsive at login/welcome

Meanwhile, I added the “USBInjectAll.kext” and rebooted to get this lovely garbled screen upon booting from the Clover boot menu. Nice stuff, yes? I guess I need to remove the “USBInjectAll.kext” and instead try one of the other kexts mentioned in this thread. Crossed fingers; wish me luck...

Yeah, gotcha, this is really important stuff since I’m such a nerd. NOT.

MSI B360I Gaming Pro – USB unresponsive at login/welcome

Thanks for your boot arg advice. I double-checked my BIOS boot settings before attempting again yet somehow the UEFI USB boot option was not selected for the primary boot device (no idea how this changed) so I changed it back – I followed your advice with the boot arg entries and noticed that...

MSI B360I Gaming Pro – USB unresponsive at login/welcome

Thanks, I will try that when I have time – been working 9 - 10 hour days six days per week the past few days; thankfully the contract ends on Wednesday.

MSI B360I Gaming Pro – USB unresponsive at login/welcome

My success with installing macOS onto Hackintoshes has been roughly 60% since I first attempted back in 2014. The last two systems (Gigabyte Z3xx-series and Gigabyte Z97-series) pretty much were the least painful installs I’ve dealt with, the installations going flawlessly (I wish the others...

[SOLVED] TL-WN725N V2 USB wireless in el Capitan —*possible???

(Cut to the chase) TP-LINK yesterday released a beta driver for OS X 10.11.x El Capitan for this USB wireless dongle. I installed it without any issues yesterday evening, and it seems to work great! Here is the link to the beta driver download page...

    Porkstacker’s G3 hackintosh

I needed to put some recesses in the plastic case closing flexible thingy. I ended up ganking that setup in favor of a Digital Audio G4 case with a Gigabyte Z87MX-D3H for more PCI slot options. Was a hell of a lot of work, yet the project is still in progress. Might be a while before I have a...

GA-Z87X-D3H stuck at [ PCI configuration begin ] state no matter what boot args I try

Yep. You guessed it. Installing 10.6.8 and not having any issues whatsoever. Computer just does it’s thing as if it were designed to run 10.6.8 (except for the occasional “USBBusFix=Yes” argument needing to be injected at bootup). No idea why I am having such crapped-out luck with 10.7 and 10.8...

OS Boot Errors - [PCI Configuration Begin] and Others (Help?)

Is this issue still unresolved? I am having the same issue on my GA-Z87MX-D3H setup. Thanks

GA-Z87X-D3H stuck at [ PCI configuration begin ] state no matter what boot args I try

Title says it all. I had comparatively hassle-free success with installing 10.6.8 (built up in December 2013) on this same supposed “unsupported” hardware, now it’s as if the thing is just sitting there playing with it’s disk after having successfully* run the 10.7 installer. I’ve followed the...

Identical system to my previous build, restarts at USB boot prompt

OK… well since Mavericks sucks, I guess I’ll attempt to install Mountain Lion, although it sucks more than Lion. I sure hope Apple isn’t going Windoze 8 with the direction of their OSs… otherwise I’ll just stick with my 2008 Mac Pro. Good thing I got both OSs for only $19.99 each. I guess the...

    I need osx 10.5.8

M-audio ticked off a lot of folks who own the older M-audio hardware, myself included (USB MIDI controller). Their “solution” is for us to spend more money on their newer devices. I can only recommend purchasing an older G4 or G5 Powermac (which are dirt cheap these days), which is how I...

Bad motherboard? Bad CPU? Bad RAM??? Bad something for sure!

Because I just looooooove to beat a dead horse (apparently) I decided to be stubborn and attempt to work with this garbage “AMP-UP” motherboard again. This time, however, armed with my USB thumb drive with a 10.7 Lion installer (took a day to clear from purchasing from being able to...
