Is the Apple file system stable? I ask because yesterday did the clean install of Mojave, running perfect in everyway. I noticed that it is no longer HSF+ now I can’t get it to boot, even with my USB ... I know I know.. no problem files attached.. but I can’t get in to do anything

Update decided to give it a try with high Sierra Config.plist Used my config from high Sierra, install went smooth, Mojave up and running perfectly Fun science experiment!

out of curiosity.. is there a difference in config.sys files between high sierra and Mojave? was thinking I could just copy my current config.sys (high sierra) to my Mojave USB installer? Thoughts?

Sorry I missed that reply Ill remake the installer using you Build of Clover. Ive upload a copy of my current installer Clover EFI. Followed his to the letter. Only changes were to the Patched .aml files ( changed to my system) and added my serial number, etc.. to smBios

SO I should use Normal Clover? Not your build of Clover?

I am trying to update from High Sierra. I get Failed to verify firmware. any body run into this? Or Do I need to to a complete fresh install with Mojave?

Is there a guide to do this? Its strange. Never had an issue before with audio only after this update. Cant update to Mohave, Something about installer failing to verify firmware. I have read the Mohave thread multiple times.

I cannot remove battery from My model laptop.. But I killed the battery... (close as I cant get without dismantling the laptop) No it does not work from USB Yes Bios is current . (v1.17) I reverted to my prior Incorrect system files.. it works.. Install proper file for 6x0 (640 Probook) ...

I correctly installed from github . (see post 211) . Keyboard backlight worked prior to updating to correct github files fr my model laptop. Now it does not turn on at all.

ok.. all fixed correctly, I hope. Also wake from sleep also fixed only glitch I have now is my keyboard backlight no longer works....
