Managed to get my 1060 working on my Sierra hack. However, it doesn't automatically boot with web drivers and I have to manual select in clover before booting the OS - I've tried the custom clover install fix but it still doesn't boot automatically. Any ideas?
Just installed this new driver to try get my 1060 to work but now when it tries to boot it stays on a black screen. I have to debug kext to even boot up again but it only displays with the Display 7mb gfx. Anyone had this issue and fixed it?
Update:
Currently using 2 sticks and upped the volt to 1.6v for now. Also deleted AppleTyMCEDriver.kext and changed my system spec to Mac Pro 5.1
Things seem stable for the time being. Used to experience crashes while listening on spotify after a few minutes but it's held up for an hour or so...
yeh, currently got 4x4gb sticks in.
edit: Just tried with 2 sticks and the same thing happened when I was watching a youtube video. I can't see anything in console that tells me it's the GFX though.
Been having some random freezing on my system that I just can't seem to pinpoint. I've tried some ideas from other threads but without any luck. Sometimes the system would stay up for hours and sometimes only for 5-10 minutes.

oh damn it! that's a brick wall for me then as I have no other mac I can download mavericks on. Is there no way to download Mavericks on windows or after the initial installation of 10.6.3 on the customac? thanks for the help!
