Just wanted to update everyone that the monitor is fixed. macOS 11.5.1 & OC 0.7.2
The issue was when you turn off a display, the windows that were open on that display wouldn't automatically get moved to the displays turned on.
It was broken before, and I just noticed it's back now, so wanted to...
I have a strange issue I haven't been able to find online.
I updated to macOS 11.5.1 after updating to OC 0.7.2 using HackinDROM v1.5.0
When I boot into OC, I select my windows 10 drive, and it stays at a black screen.
After 2-3 reboots it displays the "Preparing Automatic Repair" and...
I had an issue of my macOS EFI showing on OC boot menu. "EFI-SAM-14L"
I read on another post you made to reset CMOS. I performed the CMOS reset with a screw driver, reset the BIOS settings, then the EFI of my Clone drive is showing "EFI-SAM-34E"
I did some research for the issue with turning off a second display, and having it disconnect and move the open applications to the active monitor was actually broken from Big Sur not OC
I have a Roland Rubix22, but no drivers were required. I believe I needed a driver in Windows 10, but nothing needed for macOS
No thunderbolt add-in-cards, using the TB on board
Yeah, if I boot OC 0.7.0 EFI, I can log into the Clone drive just fine and doesn't crash
I still haven't been able to get the system to be stable for OC 0.7.0 and Big Sur. 11.4.
I can log into the system, but then it freezes about 10 minutes after.
I tried with and without NVMeFix.kext disabled, no change, still freezes.
I used the ocvalidate from the Utilities...
Not that issue, now I have another issue lol! Oh man I'm going crazy.
I have two drives. One back up clone named "Clone", and my main NVMe drive "macOS"
So I updated macOS OC 0.7.0, then was able to install Big Sur 11.4.
However, the system freezes after 10 minutes of use.
I tried booting...
That was the issue. Now I can boot in 0.6.9 on macOS drive :)
I then tried to update to 11.4
And got stuck at is here \/
So I tried disabling NVMe.kext through Propertree and saved. Went a bit further to this:
