Hi guys, I'm prepping for my RX580 Pulse to arrive tomorrow. However (as per my signature), I have a Skylake system, so I'm naturally using the iMac17,1 ID, but currently need to use Lilu + NvidiaGraphicsFixUp to have a working screen.
What do you guys suggest for my future RX580 + Skylake...
Thanks. Then for those in the UK (or wherever Amazon delivers), this is a pretty sweet deal:
I just ordered one, had enough of the problems with nVidia on my Hack...
A quick update, as I ran into no sound after updating to latest Clover version (4497).
The fix is the following:
1. Mount EFI
2. Open your config.plist file
Hi @fgxr8, excellent writeup!
Question to you since I have a setup similar to yours. Are you seeing any lags with the GTX 1080? I mean the general UI.
I do have a GTX 970, but on the desktop that should not make a difference. The only main difference I can see is that I am using the 14,2 SMBIOS...
Update to Supplemental Update went without a hitch, with these steps:
1. Update Clover
2. Uninstall nVidia driver
3. Reboot (without changin the config.plist file)

I guess we now need to have SIP enabled for all app installs.
Some general forewords:
- I prefer to use Clover and not MultiBeast/UniBeast for both the installation drive as well as the running OSX
- I have tried choosing hardware that is most compatible with OSX
- Everything works 100% unless specifically stated :)
- I always try to modify (etc BIOS) and...
Hi All, so the trick was indeed to fully enable SIP (and since I do all my mods through kexts in Clover, I left it enabled, and all is fine!).
But - there seems to be lag, as if the GPU is operating at low speeds, and then ramps up. Example: when I press Mission Control, the first time it's...
Info for anyone using nVidia drivers: FINALLY the latest pascal drivers (378.05.05.05f02) give excellent UX, meaning a very fluid experience on the desktop - please note I have not tested any games yet.
An update to this version of the driver is highly recommended!
