since upgrading to the latest OC, I am having a warning pop up that states something along the lines of
' No Schema on AdviseWindows ' .... (I can't remember the rest)
Does anyone know what this could mean?
@Inqnuam - I just tested updating to 0.6.9, and when I clicked on 'Update Opencore', it crashed the app and I had to re-open via the Application folder. I think last time you mentioned it may have been code you forgot to remove, but it looks like it is still occurring after that change also...
I am now using the Intel WiFi/Bluetooth (Kexts that were in your build). I have physically removed the Fenvi PCIe card that has both WiFi and Bluetooth. When I am using the 'USBInjectAll-071' and 'USBInjectAll-076' files, both the Intel WiFi Bluetooth work. When I switch over to my USBPorts.kext...
Hi Inquam, Not so much an issue as a possible enhancement to the tool. In OpenCoreConfig tool, we can see comments next to ACPI files. In HackinDROM, I do not believe that we can see this. Because of this, when I was trying to switch from the standard 'Z390 Designare' setup, to the 'Z390...
@Inqnuam, not sure if it is possible but HackinDROM can possibly override the above setups if someone selects any of the IntelWifi builds.
@CaseySJ, now the only issue is that when I go back to my custom USB Kext, the Bluetooth stops working. Are you able to modify this for me to disable the Fenvi ports and enable the bluetooth port?
I am not certain how to modify this.
EDIT: I fixed it.... I had to disable the two ACPI files :banghead:
@CaseySJ - Okay I just did that. I am at a complete loss as to why its not working. I turned off my custom kext and used your direct setup from HackinDROM, and still no success....
Yes, I used the Gigabyte antenna to connect to the back. I just remembered that I am using a custom USB kext. Could that be why it’s not working? I’m not sure how to update the Fenvi ports to the other ports of the kext :/
Hi @CaseySJ, I just reinstalled OC via Hackindrom (Z390 Designare + OpenIntelWireless), but it still had same issue after boot where WIFI was not working, couldn't find any networks or anything, and the Bluetooth was stating that it was not installed and could not be turned on
Hi @CaseySJ - I am trying to use the intelwireless and Bluetooth injector files. I downloaded the files via the github link, re-named, added to the KEXT folder and enabled via OpenCoreConfig tool. However, when I restarted the machine without the Fenvi installed, the wireless & Bluetooth would...
For version 2.0, if I am switching from Fenvi, do I have to still physically remove the device, or does the new version bypass it? Would be interested to try, but my case makes it difficult to remove the card.
WOW. That was the smoothest update that I have ever done!! Well Done @Inqnuam. One thing that I did note is when I initially clicked on the 'Update Opencore' button, the HackinDROM application crashed, but I just had to re-open it from the Applications folder and it ran flawlessly after that...
My build does not seem to be going fully to sleep anymore. The monitor shuts off fine after time, however the actual PC itself does not seem to properly sleep. The computer will sleep fine if I manually select Sleep from the drop down.
Below are my power settings (I am not sure what any of the...
@CaseySJ -- Odd issue, but after upgrading from .6.5 to .6.7 Adguard is no longer able to boot on my machine. Do you know why that could be? I checked the Get Info & Security and Privacy but everything looks correct, and the app was working on .6.5
I'm now getting 2 popups whenever I try to...
Just want to make sure that I understand this since I’ve been doing it wrong for about a year lol... so I would only use the intel config file If I do not have a graphics card?
Ie. even know I have an intel GPU, since I’m plugged into the RX 5700, I would want the AMD version?
