I hope there are some smart people here who can try to figure out with me what is going wrong with my setup.
So I'm a professional Audio Mixing Engineer and I have a studio.
I'm using Avid Pro Tools Ultimate as my DAW along with an Avid HDX Card (DSP Based Audio PCIe 2.0 x4 card).
I updated my Studio Hackintosh to High Sierra via a clean install because I couldn't get the IGPU working in Mojave.
Now the system works fully, but only non of my PCIe Card are recognised by the manufactures software:
I'm using a Avid HDX Card with Pro Tools, and in my Sierra build it...
I bought a Z390 Gaming X that was in the list.
But I can’t get in the installer...
After so many working systems, this one I can’t get to boot.
What can be the problem (I think something with USB).
I have this machine I made several years ago for a friend.
This summer we updated the system to OSX Sierra.
Everything worked fine for some weeks and then when he booted up the system the next day he got an error:
When I let him do a verbose mode boot we got stuck on the following...
Samsung 950 Pro SSD Series 10.9.5 Z77X
I was thinking about buying a Samsung 950 Pro SSD with a M2 to PCIe 3.0 x4 Adapter for my system.
I still running OS 10.9.5 because of it's stability and latest support for Pro Tools HD 10.3.10
Now I know NVMe support is just since OSX 10.11...
I know this is a mission possible without succes.
But I'm looking for a Gigabyte Z77X-UP5-TH.
With the change in my Studio Gear, I went for external Thunderbolt devices.
So if someone could help me out?
didn't find via search something that is helping me out,
but are there people out there tried if the new form SATA M.2 is working with the latest OS X ?
Or do we have to wait until 10.10 and new iMac's will be released ?
I'm now for several years a Hackintosh builder, but always with the hi-end motherboards.
Now, I'm a live sound engineer and I'm running a Midas Pro 2 series console.
I have 2 Lynx Audio AES16e50 PCIe 1x Cards for audio transmission between the Midas Console and a MacBookPro...
[SOLVED] UD5H F14 restarts after shutdown
Merry Christmas to all of you on this forum.
I have still a problem with my brand new system and don't find where the problem is.
If I chose to shutdown my system the computer shuts down but after 5 seconds it restarts...
Anyone who can...
hows the status about ASUS Boards with Mountain Lion ?
I need to make a Hackintosh for 2 PCI-X cards, yes, for a Pro Tools HD rig.
I Know Q77, B75 have still native PCI slots...
So the question is: are ASUS boards a go without extra patches ?
Kind regards ... Bernd
I'm searching for a USB Wifi that will show as a native Airport Wifi.
Something that doesn't need 3part drivers.
I will use it for my old MacBookPro Late 2008 model.
The internal Airport card is dead and replacing it isn't a option.
today I bought this GTX 660 Ti card:
Now, before the swap from the HD 5870 to the 660 Ti
I changed Graphics Enabler from Yes to No.
Installed the CUDA Drivers.
Swapped the cards and the system just booted fine.
I'm looking for a mac compatible ExpressCard34 to PCIe Card.
I have a RME HDSPe MADIface card witch I'm using via a Sonnet ExpressCard34 to Thunderbolt adapter.
Now I would like to use the card with my desktop hackintosh.
Anyone who knows a compatible card?
today I'm trying to update my system with a clean install.

Today installed Mountain Lion on this new system.
System is in use for Pro Tools HDX.
Installation went fine.
But some things that doesn't work:
- The SATA from the chipset doesn't be recognised correctly: unknown achi device
the Marvells are perfectly recognised.
- The Chipset USB...
This weekend I bought a brand new IvyBridge system.
16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
New everything is working perfectly except the HD4000.
My system profile is Mac Mini, then HD4000 is recognised, but only with 64mb RAM, but only 1024x768 resolution.
Need I change the system profile...
I'm running OSX Lion since 4 weeks now.
But there is still one problem I didn't get solved...
When I put the system in sleep for more the 2/3 hours, the system manually turns on again, but I don't get any screen ... It stays black.
And somethings when I then reboot the system I got...
