    Problem with Starcraft 2 video on integrated HD 3000

    Hi guys-- I don't usually use my hack for games, but I felt like playing Starcraft and it doesn't work. See screenshot. Build is in the signature; otherwise my graphics (and the machine) work just fine. Any ideas? Data point: the first time I ran this post-game-install, it actually worked...

    Problem with identical twin rigs

    Okay, this is very interesting. If I create the boot drive on the Ivy machine, then run multibeast with the mixed graphics patch, I CAN use it to boot the Sandy machine into safe mode with a -x flag. What is weird is that once I boot once WITH the -x flag, I can then boot once or twice...

    Problem with identical twin rigs

    Almost identical rigs - one boots, one won't! I’m an experienced Hackintosher, and have built several functioning rigs over the last ~7 years thanks to this forum. I have a problem with inconsistent (and occasionally non-existent) booting on a H77N-wifi with a Sandy Bridge cpu. I have two...

    H77N-Wifi stuck at [IOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState]

    And yet another update to help those who may bump into this in the future: After using Unibeast to create a boot drive, I had to use PCRootUID=0 (remember, it's case sensitive) to get the new drive to boot for the first time. After that, I ran Multibeast with the standard options and...IT...

    H77N-Wifi stuck at [IOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState]

    Update: I CAN boot using boot flag PCIRootUID=0. (As suggested in http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/95717-grey-apple-logo-sticking-after-installation.html) What does that mean? Similar problem reported at these posts...

    H77N-Wifi stuck at [IOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState]

    H77N-Wifi 3225 stuck at [IOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState] Relatively experienced hackintosher: this is my fourth or fifth build over the years. I have two current rigs: the old one is a H77N-wifi with a 2025 cpu. The new is a H77N-wifi with a 3225 cpu. The old one runs like a charm...

    Trouble with *F3* BIOS H77N-Wifi

    Well, that isn't the issue. I got impatient and flashed back to F2...I still have the same problem. So it must be the chip, right? Even though I'm going to the *more* compatible chip. Argh. Booting -v, I end up stuck at the following line: [IOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState] calling...

    Can install to HDD but not SSD

    You mean the bottom option on the menu list? I did that and it seemed to take under a second. Is that "it?"

    Trouble with *F3* BIOS H77N-Wifi

    Hi all, I already have one perfectly fine hack rig with a H77n-wifi and a 2025 cpu (using the mixed graphics patch). I am trying to make another rig with the same mobo using a 3225 cpu. But I can't make it work. The only important difference, I think, is the BIOS. The new board came with...

    Can install to HDD but not SSD

    Finally got around to this. It worked. I wasn't able to find whatever the specific command within parted magic that you suggested. But I used Parted magic to write zeros and, ta-da, my install went correctly. As usual, thanks to a great community.

    Can install to HDD but not SSD

    I take it you mean don't use the "write zeros" erase feature in disk utility? Any suggestions for another utility?

    Thanks. I'll try that tonight.

    Can install to HDD but not SSD

    SOLVED: Can install to HDD but not SSD This is pretty weird. I've been hackintoshing for 4 or 5 years now, though I remain just an educated "user" who doesn't understand too much what is going on under the hood. I have had three different builds working in the past but am now having trouble...

    DSDT for Gygabyte EP45-UD3P

    Sorry--I did read the post, but it seemed that you still had glitches with App Store, etc. Is your rig working fine now? (Including sleep, which is pretty important for me?)

    DSDT for Gygabyte EP45-UD3P

    I have 10.6.8 working nearly flawlessly on my EP45 rig using the old Stellarolla lifehacker tools. So the main reason I want to find a DSDT is to install 10.7...has ANYONE found a DSDT that works for that purpose?

    DSDT for Gygabyte EP45-UD3P

    Well, that was unsatisfying! I tried it and couldn't compile a DSDT that didn't have lots of errors. Am I being ridiculous to think that SOMEONE out there has a working DSDT file for this board? Just a year or two ago it was one of the hackintosh standards.

    DSDT for Gygabyte EP45-UD3P

    Bump--I have exactly the same question--anyone have a DSDT for this board that works for Lion?

    Truly small Mini-ITX case for hack mini?

    Okay Nige2000, you've sold me...but how can I get one here in the U.S.?

    Truly small Mini-ITX case for hack mini?

    I found this one: http://www.mini-box.com/M350-enclosure- ... 0W-adapter This is more like 8" x 8" x 2.5." I can't tell whether the 80w power supply would be enough, but the same site has other, apparently larger, outboard PSUs available. Anyone see obvious problems with this design?

    Truly small Mini-ITX case for hack mini?

    That Sugo SG05 is 11" x 7" x 9," which is bigger than the Apex case that is recommended in the Customac Mini build (11" x 5" x 9"). It also has a bigger PSU--450w vs 200w. I'm looking for something significantly smaller than either of those cases--preferably not much bigger than the itx...
