Official CustoMac Mini 2011 Guide and Notes (in progress)

Updated to 10.7.4 and using toleda's DSDT with samisnake's modified 0803 BIOS and sleep/wake no longer works. It was working in 10.7.3 however. Anyone else having the same issue?

Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC 892 on Lion - Update

I have no idea why, but did a quick reinstall of the latest patched AppleHDA.kext for 10.7.3 from MultiBeast 4.5.1 on my system (deleting all old audio kexts first) and now the audio works. Tried twice before on an old 10.7.3 install and a fresh 10.7.4 copy. I guess third time's a charm.

Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC 892 on Lion - Update

    Can't get audio to work on my P8H67-I Deluxe since I updated to 10.7.4. Using modified 0803 BIOS. I've tried: DSDT w/ MultiBeast 4.5.1 + Patched AppleHDA DSDT w/ MultiBeast 4.5.1 + ALC8xxHDA + Rollback non-DSDT w/ ALC8xxHDA + Rollback + Non-DSDT HDAEnabler VoodooHDA 0.2.2 DSDT w/ MultiBeast...

Patched CPU Power Management Kexts Added to MultiBeast

This is awesome. I finally see all P-States showing now which I've never seen before. Ironically, I once had sleep working but not speedstep, now it's the other way round. Also need to fix my audio as 10.7.4 broke it.

DSDT for P8H67-I Deluxe - Testers Needed

One thing I have noticed is that autosleep doesn't work as defined in the Energy Saver preferences window. The display shuts off but the computer stays on.

DSDT for P8H67-I Deluxe - Testers Needed

Ok, I am on the 0803 modified ROM (with a few tweaks such as custom POST screen logo, SLIC etc.) with the associated DSDT file here and everything appears to be working. I finally have sleep on this motherboard! Just to confirm that SpeedStep is also working I ran MSRDumper and I've gotten this...

    Tweaking your serial #

DH2G - 2011 MacBook Pro 13" i5 @ 2.3Ghz 8,1 By the way, I don't understand how the Y and W values work in the newer format. For instance, on my MBP: Y = F W = L How does that translate to what year (2011) and week (between 1-17 or so)? This lookup seems pretty accurate...

    GA-P55 USB3 and my Blackberry

The USBFamiliyMod2.0.kext is only really useful for basic USB devices such as mass storage, mice, keyboards etc. Have you installed a DSDT for your motherboard? You can find them for the latest Gigabyte motherboards here: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2009/12/ ... oards.html I found that as...

Install worked sort of...can't get iDevices to work

I'm on the latest BIOS for mine, which is the F9J BETA from June last year. Anyway, mine's sorted. I extracted and modified my motherboard's DSDT with the standard fixes for the Gigabyte boards and my iPhone is now showing, YAY!

Install worked sort of...can't get iDevices to work

I'm in a similar boat, have a very different type of motherboard though. My USB memory stick and other USB devices are working fine - just not my iPhone! I'm hoping it's related to not having a DSDT loaded but not ruling out other causes.

DSDT Database for non-socket 1156 Motherboards [OLD]

Re: DSDT Database for non-P55 Motherboards Hiya, first post. I just want to thank you for the great tools you've released - I've had near 100% success with my current hardware, which is an 100x improvement over all the other methods laying about the internet that I've tried. I'm currently...
