Yes that'd be lovely if someone could share their experience:
I never ever downgraded and wondered if the kexts that were added are also kept,
just like in an Upgrade?
that would, for example, disable itunes (which is a Mojave specific version I thought... might be wrong there)
IMHO If you can't find mac drivers for the GPU It'll be a lot less hassle to switch it out to something supported...
and yes, the network card is a pain. see my earlier posts. I gave up on that and got a usb to ethernet from aliexpress :-)
a little update:
i figured out that having the BCM5754D.kext inside:
makes it work!
and I edited the plist like suggested in the first OP post
from where you can also download the kext

Hello friends of the T5500,
I just wanted to share some info.
I have a 2x 2,66 6 core T5500,

messed up graphics in:
Desk Chat, (whatsapp client)
and a few more, I am sure...
PCI express = first load (bios goes to my first gpu)
- GTX 760 2GB
- GTX Titan X 12GB
now the monitors need to be...
I think in this case the person also ended up reinstalling the multi beast boot loader or something, along with this realtek thing...
Basically just rerun multi beast with different settings, especially the legacy usb stuff... try out specifically for your system!
There's one super-easy solution that i'd like to mention:
for my Gigabyte Z77-ds3h
it was just a matter of going into the bios,
and selecting several ports as:
HOT SWAPPABLE > ENABLE / DISABLED
at this point, my mSATA (boot disk) is gray,
and all the others are orange.
if I want them grey, i...
