I did it like that:
I used gibmacOS, where I downloaded, and made a bootable USB, an unsupported version for my nvidia card. Then updated it after I installed it to 10.13.6 from the App Store. You will find nvidia WebDrivers simply from the nvidia website...
Everything is fine except for video card. If you're planning for high Sierra so you'll be fine, else if you're planning for next versions of Mac you won't get GPU accelleration, means GUI glitches, lag and maybe even low FPS for mouse. If High Sierra is OK for you, then try it, cuz will probably...
Probably yes! I warn you, you should stay on High Sierra or behind if you don't want GUI glitches, lags and you want GPU Accelleration. But if you want to take the risk, I use Mojave and lags a little bit less than Catalina.
Hi, I installed MacOS High Sierra, using 9400F and 1060 6GB Strix. After “Waiting for DSMOS” comes out everything goes slower and stucks as in the photo.
Ends in Kernel Panic
What to do? I’m still a Noob
