I've tried both. I'm not really sure what is going on, but I had the RGB working then it all went dark. Never worked again. RGB is new to me and it wasn't really something I cared about so I just let it be. My case has it's own RGB controls externally so I just use that. I'm sorry, I know this...
Attached is my EFI folder. It's not perfect but it's my daily driver @ 5.0ghz. I've not setup all the USB ports and all that. On some boots, the front IO usb 3.0 may work and and other boots it may not. I have an aftermarket PCIe 4 port USB3.0 card so I just use that as my reliable usb3.0 ports...
I had to lower the bios version of the mobo to v12. No other bios was anywhere near as stable. I will post my efi volume a bit later. I'm not home at the moment.
Wow!!!. That's insane. Really dumb to even care about the file structure. Most basic users wont even know what the hell the error is reporting. And to have conflicting requirements on top of that... Really poorly considered on behalf of the developer(s). Im actually kind of shocked.
So I wanted to warn anyone who may have Mojave on their system. The install automatically creates an APFS volume system on the destination drive. I didn't think much about it because I've had High Sierra running on a real Mac ( MacPro5,1 12-core ) since it came out and it's been really stable...

Wow. Just finished my Mojave build, i9-9900K, MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC. My anatek 4 port USB pci express card was one of the things I could not get running. Your solution totally worked. Also my computer boots faster than ever now.!!!!!!!!!
So sweet. Thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually no. The system just worked pretty easy. I only had issues with the installer. The system (Mojave) want's the installer to have an identity. Which didn't happen with Sierra and High Sierra.
WOW!, That never even occurred to me. Great idea!
I literally sat there for days and days and days testing each and every option possible until I made progress on the particular issue I was having. Crazy I know, but at the time I was the only one working on the hardware I was using. So I didn't...
Holy moly. I'm only seeing these two posts now. For some reason I never got emailed that any one was responding on this post. I'm so sorry. How have your build's proceeded? Any success? If not, where are you stuck? Maybe I can help, even if so late. I'm truly sorry for missing your posts.
Have you had any luck yet?
I've managed to get 2 stations working. First one was MSI Z370 Gaming Pro carbon AC with 17-8700K cpu.
Second one I just started 2 days ago. MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with i9-9900K cpu.
It takes a lot of work and effort to get these boards working. But once...
Be sure to plug into USB 2. I had the same issue with USB 3.0. Once I switched to USB 2.0 it moved passed that point. You will need very specific kext files installed also. The last big issue I had was that the Mac type had to be just right. iMac 14,2 works. But I used MacPro5,1. Since I...

So. Last night I downloaded the .106 update. I also downloaded the webdriver.sh file. I also grabbed the Nvidia repackager.
I first used the repackager to repackage the .106 installer to install on my station now that the 10.13.3 update was already installed. That worked just fine. I rebooted...
If you were not having these panic attacks before the update, one of the things that worked for me was simplifying the boot arguments list for Clover to the bare minimum I needed to get the station booting. Once that was done I tried one by one enabling the boot arguments I knew I needed. For...
Thanks for you quick reply.
I tried your recommendations.
Sadly its only a little bit better.
But it slows down in cycles. Perfect cycles of a couple of seconds per slow, then performs just fine.
And this only affects browsers.
The rest of the computer is fine. Meaning Photoshop, Premiere...
The install worked fine. No issues. Same for the NVidia Web graphics update.
The problem now is the station behaves very slowly and unresponsive.
I updated Lilu and LiluFriend. No effect.
I updated APFS.efi on the off chance it might make a difference. No Effect.
I have 8700k OC's to 4.9ghz...
