[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

I've also tried more recent ones, doesn't seem to matter, though. So I've stuck with the one that's in the config.plist provided by Rehabman.

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

I have Rehabman's DSDT patches in acpi/patched and no other DSDTs there. Bios version is 1.25. Have just completed a fresh install as I exchanged the SSD and yes, closing the keyboard puts the Elite x2 to sleep, opening it wakes it up. No issues detected. Good luck. edit: I've attached my EFI...

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

Either of the Kaby Lake ones works, I'm using config.plist and DSDT patches for the EliteBook G4 right now. Great. If I get to it and figure something out I'll let you know.

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

I'm also running 10.14.3, and additionally to what's working for you, also sleep and battery are working (using Rehabman's files from his ProBook tutorial). On the todo list are graphics (the screen works with max 1368x912 HiDPI, but I'd like to use higher resolutions), touchscreen and pen...

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

@jhax01 You wrote some time ago that you made the switch to the Elite x2 1012 G2. I'm typing this on that very device, and it's working ok running Mojave. I'd still like to improve some details, and in case you could post a guide that would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your work so far.

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Mojave working flawlessly so far on my 840 G5, including sleep. Only issue, as already noted, is that thunderbolt docking station only works after reboot from windows.

[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Mojave working flawlessly so far (including audio) on my EliteBook 840 G5. Followed this guide using 4x0_g5_kaby_lake_r acpi and config. Also HP Ultraslim docking station is working. HP Elite x2 Thunderbolt docking station only works (and with all ports) when rebooting from Windows, not after...

I do. On 10.11.6, that is. Haven't tested on Sierra.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, the problem is not just that the dock is unsupported, but that the Thunderbolt bus isn't even showing up in Sierra.

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

I'm surprised that so few people seem to be interested in this amazing tablet. I've had my fair share of Hackintoshs, but this is by far the most versatile and amazing one. Apart from minor things (mobile data, microSD, Thunderbolt) things work wonderfully, including the stylus (I've tried both...

[Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

@RehabMan: I set up my new NUC6i5SYK (newest available BIOS, BTW), and I just wanted to give feedback: Sierra 10.12.2 has been working faultlessly so far. Audio works over DP, also without issues after waking from sleep. An unexpected bonus is that besides 1920x1080 the HiDPI resolutions...

[Guide] Installing El Capitan on Spectre x360 (Skylake)

Thanks again for your help. Seems sleep works now, just wanted to give some feedback. For sleep to also work with USB devices attached, I had to remove the _PRW methods in DSDT (renamed them to XPRW); I found the solution here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307495-sleep-problems/

[Guide] Installing El Capitan on Spectre x360 (Skylake)

Hi RehabMan, I would appreciate it if you could point me the right direction to getting sleep to work on my Spextre x360 13-4104ng (Skylake i5 6200U). I patched the DSDT and SSDT files to the best of my abilities and everything seems to work fine, including brightness fn-keys and graphics...

    [obsolete] HP ProBook Installer 6

HP ProBook Installer 6 (beta) Thanks appleiscool, I tried changing the settings, didn't help. About the typing lag I'm not qualified to say anything about, I didn't try for long enough. Thank you for your answer and yes, AppStore 10.8.2, the same goes for 10.8.1. I formatted the...

    [obsolete] HP ProBook Installer 6

HP ProBook Installer 6 (beta) Tried both 60b6 and 60b7, and in both cases I have the problem that the touchpad is lagging with the mouse pointer freezing repeatedly for around half a second. The problem appears both when installing 10.8.2 from scratch and when updating from 10.8.1. Everything...

Asrock Z68 Pro3 got it running flawlessly

Hi schoels, you're right. You sure need a Mac OS to prepare the stick. What I meant was, that some guides advice the installation of 10.6.8 and only then to upgrade to Lion. What you can do, though, and that's what I did (having had no access to a Mac as well) is, to start Mac OS X in VMware...
