Hi everyone. I have a Hackintosh with AMD Vega 64 and an i7-7700K.
Since I have a Vega card, I immediately set "iMacPro1,1" SMBIOS with the new version of Clover Configurator.
But as soon as I save the config.plist, the system doesn't boot anymore. It gets stuck at "OsxAptioFix2Drv" verbose...
I tried the new Final Cut 10.4 for macOS High Sierra and it opens up fine and creates projects without crashing (without having to rename system KBL kexts, so at least this major issue has been fixed).

Hello, I have the following 100% working build:
Sapphire AMD Vega 64
16GB DDR4 RAM
Corsair H60i Cooler
macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C88)
Since I use this machine as a professional Final Cut editing station, I also enabled Intel's QuickSync using shikigva=12 boot-arg and...
I built a Hackintosh for professional video editing tasks using Final Cut Pro X, this is why I need Intel Quick Sync enabled.
Here's my configuration:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7
CPU: Intel i7-7700K
GPU: Asus Strix GTX 980Ti (will switch to AMD Vega 64 in December)
I'm running this build for months and it's perfect, everything works fine. The only issue I have is that internet (upload speed in particular) is running incredibly slow.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel i7 5820K 3.3 GHz
- MOBO: Asus X99 Deluxe USB 3.1
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 980Ti
I'm about to build a professional machine for video editing and graphics. Are all these pieces hackintosh compatible? Do you have any advice for this configuration?
