cinebench R20 ,xps 9360 i7-8550u 16G ram, default TDP PL1:23W, PL2:51W.
My best score is 1450.Lowest score is 1377 on AC power.
So i think your score is not good.
And when running cinebench test , if you open Intel Power Gadget ,you might see the PL1 remain 23W.
Here is my running voltageshift info
CPU BaseFreq: 2000, CPU MaxFreq(1/2/4): 4000/4000/4000 (mhz) PL1: 30W PL2: 51W
CPU Freq: 1.2ghz, Voltage: 0.5916v, Power:pkg 2.72w /core 0.50w,Temp: 52 c
but while running cinebench,
intel power gadget shows that TDP remain the same..
:) Just can't tell you how exciting i am right now!
OC: Using my own
* 0x4B7 0x1c -> 0x80 ; Long Term Time Window
* 0x4B6 0x01 -> 0x01 ; Long Term Power Limit Override
* 0x4DE 0x00 -> 0x00 ; CFG lock
* 0x4E0 0x00 -> 0x01 ; Config TDP lock
My OC zip mainly come from this repo
Compare other EFI, it won't wake up every 2 hour automatically.
And i've modify some part.
- with BCM94360cs2 replaced ,wireless&bluetooth related kext is deleted, but i need wake on...
sorry,there isn't any hdmi port on my xps 9360.
if you are using xps 9360, you could try those EFI below.
it's using DisplayPort Alt Mode to transfer video signal by usb type-c port.
quite interesting in how to raising the TDP threshold.
i've do some google search ,but not found the answer yet.
would you mind give some hint? or a tutorial will be better.
thanks in advance.
here is my geekbench4 score compare to yours .
- bigsur beta10
- cpufriend provider ...
It's right there in MacOS. Sys Pref/Keyboard/Modifier Keys
it's not gonna work with builtin keyboard ,at least in my configuration.
you can't change any other key to fn,
and fn key won't work no matter what you set.
But it works on external keyboard. like magic keyboard.
I've search how to disable it for a long time (at least 4 hours) and thankfully I've found answer here.
huge thanks to darkvoid.
the original value 500ms is too long ,sometimes even feels like stuck.
And I'm wondering if is there ANYWAY to swap ctrl and fn key?
When i trying to sleep,sometimes it will reboot .
Ethernet,USB3.0,Sound,Cpu speedster,Video Card(hd4600), everything is fine.
And at next time booting,A Panic Report shows.
I'm very sure that I am using OsxAptioFixDrv...
thank you! VoiletDragon!
By following your guide,i install a hackintosh that almost perfect.
My config is H97N-WiFI, Core i5-4590, Intel HD 4600
But there still two little confusion in your guide.
1> Drivers64UEFI, OsxAptioFixDrv. (Don't use OsxAptioFixDrv2 it causes problems)
