[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

What is the advice on using the same serial / board number when upgrading? Since I'll be using the same AppleID is this recommended/allowed?

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Any chance you know if the NUC10i3FNH will work with these EFI folders? I need a really basic computer.

    [Release] Hackintool v3.x.x

I’m very new to all this and been trying everything I can. I have a NUC8I7BEH that works perfectly over HDMI and thunderbolt (DP). But I want to add a Razer Core X Chroma and 5600 XT over thunderbolt. When I boot it stalls on ioconsoleusers gioscreenlockstate 3 but then finally boots. After...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Has anyone used the Razer Chroma X with the NUC8 series? I'm getting a black screen after it starts to boot so I'm not sure if there is a problem that is easy to solve. Right now I'm on the Windows partition and it seems to be working. Are there any extra kexts required for something like this...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Can anyone suggest the best way to dual boot Windows on these NUC systems running Catalina? The Vanilla Guide for OpenCore just mentions partitioning, but Catalina sort of uses a partition group where there is a "Macintosh HD" and "Macintosh HD - Data" and I'm not sure if I'll break anything by...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

The EFI for OpenCore works like a charm, but the plist seems empty. Usually they have a bunch of stuff filled in when you look at clover configurator. I currently don't have iMessage. Do I just need to add serial numbers and if so is there a guide somewhere? I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

You are correct. I don't know how it didn't spot it. Sleep deprivation I guess. It's all running fine and I'm migrating my Mojave back up as we speak. I actually figured it out a few mins after I posted here, but then I was busy fixing it. Thanks again for all your help.

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on an issue I'm having. I previously used this guide to build a Mojave NUC8i7BEH. Worked fine. I tried to make a clean install to Catalina and I got it to work, but only booting from the USB and in safe mode. Not good. So I tried the open...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Can anyone help me with really poor Geekbench scores on the NUC8i7BEH? I'm running 16GB of 2400MHz ram and a Evo 860 which shouldn't really be a problem. On windows things run really well, running games (like LoL) at above 120fps). I didn't check Geekbench, but I think it would have done...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Has anyone found a way to solve the issue of scratchy audio? I'm starting to think that it is my NUC that has the problem instead of the installation. I've moved the kexts to Library/Extensions and that hasn't worked. I've updated to the latest version of 10.14.6 and still I get this hum, using...

High Sierra - Safari causing hardware crash/lockup

Thank you. That solved the problem for me. I'm using an Nvidia 760 so I'm not sure why it would have been affecting me but that IntelGraphicsFixup.kext did the trick. I already had lilu.

Black flashing underscore when booting from USB

Total beginner here. My specs: Gigabyte H87n-wifi, i7-4770, Samsung EVO SSD. So I followed the guide to make a bootable USB with High Sierra. I plugged it in and booted from it. No problems. Got through to the screen where you set up the Mac (like you do when you first boot a genuine mac). It...
