[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

I see a few things that could be messing with your USB configuration, I have a few ACPI patches Rehabman created. still use, that could be part of it. You are also using different SSDTs than my version, not sure that matters but it could. Again I don't have an NUC8 right now so will have to wait...

One last question, when you say hangs on boot what do you mean? A Black Screen or the the text output using -v boot argument stops (verbose boot)? If so did you add the boot argument needed for most 5700Xt cards "agdpmod=pikera"

Something is borked. Can’t say what without seeing you EFI folder. My bet is your USB configuration is conflicting with it.

You know there are Kexts you can install to enable WiFi now? I haven’t tried them for awhile but others here have. Otherwise any WiFi dongle that works with Mac, check the reviews first, should work.

That's unusual, I have similar, if not identical, boot times. If you want to clear out your serial numbers I can check your config.plist for you. Either that or have you tried the OpenCore Sanity Checker? https://opencore.slowgeek.com

Are both OS sharing a drive or do you have to separate drives? If separate have you tried selecting the Windows/ Windows Boot Manager drive in the bios?

The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I had the Z390 Gaming E and the two boards are very similar, both use the same kexts and drivers in Clover but USB ports vary. Double check your bios settings first as documented on page one. The files ModMike has posted haven't been updated for quite a while so that too could be the issue. I'd...

Using Hackintool you probably need to make adjustments to the type of port that is detected to get USBc working. The SSDT does essentially the same thing just in a more complex way. You can use MaciASL to read the DDST and compare it to what the USBPorts.kext does. Click on the kext to "Show...

I don't have any NUC8 boxes anymore so there is no way for me to test any updates I'd create. My best suggestion is to do some reading here in the Coffee Lake section. double check the "Quirks" that I've used in the config.plist of the 6.0 version and when in doubt copy that setting. I...
