    macOS 10.13.6 Update

Finally ran the update. I get a black screen and no boot with anything plugged into the rear USB 3.0 ports. I installed the patch to my config.plist and ran USB injectall in the latest version of Multibeast and still nothing. If I unplug the USB 3.0 ports with the machine running it boots up...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.6 (346.03.15)

Thanks, but I've tried that and this: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306535-nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-el-capitan-update-05042018/ It's a no go for me. I keep getting a no driver detected message and my system defaults to the Apple driver. I have tried just about every combination...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.6 (346.03.15)

Nope, looks like we are at the end of Nvidia support for El Capitan. They never updated the link on page one. I think this thread is now dead.

[Solved] Mac OS 10.11.6 Security update 2018-002 breaks Nvidia Webdriver 346.03.15f12

Yes, latest CUDA is updated. It tells me "no GPU detected." I have the latest Nvidia driver too. About this Mac says running on 8MB graphics. Although I am connected directly to the video card. sudo nano /Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/Info.plist shows current build number. I...

[Solved] Mac OS 10.11.6 Security update 2018-002 breaks Nvidia Webdriver 346.03.15f12

I ran this update to (15G20015) and for the first time had graphics issues. I tried everything and still get the CUDA preferences app saying "no GPU detected".

Ran latest El Cap update. No Nvidia driver.

Yes, I already found it, installed it and still it's a no go. The CUDA is also the most recent from 1/25/18. CUDA Preferences says "no GPU detected". Not sure what is wrong as this has never been problem before.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.6 (346.03.15)

The link for 10.11.6 (15G20015) is this: 346.03.15f13 However it still doesn't work for me. I think the CUDA driver is incompatible and I'm not sure which one I need or if it is available.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.6 (346.03.15)

Doesn't work for me. I don't think that is for El Cap.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.6 (346.03.15)

Ran the latest update. Don't see an updated driver for 10.11.6 (15G20015). Wondering if there is going to be one? Otherwise I am stuck with no driver and wonky graphics.

Ran latest El Cap update. No Nvidia driver.

Thanks. I tried that link its, a no go. I should have waited to run the update. In the past the Nvidia Driver Manager always found the latest driver and updated automatically. I also tried downgrading the CUDA driver and going backwards, all the way to the 10.11 beta, but still nothing...

Ran latest El Cap update. No Nvidia driver.

I ran the latest update for El Capitan. Thought it would not affect video since it was iTunes, Safari and security. Now I have to run the glitchy MacOs driver for video. In the past the Nvidia driver update software detected it and automatically installed the new driver. Did I mess something up...

Update Directly to macOS High Sierra

Upgraded directly from El Capitan 10.11.6 to High Sierra. Cloned a new SSD using Carbon Copy Cloner. Could not get the clone to boot. After a some time of pulling my hair out for a while I stumbled on changing the boot order in the BIOS. After that the entire update took less than 30 minutes...

Update Directly from El Capitan to High Sierra via Mac App Store?

Thank you. Like I said, I have been out of it for a while. When I switched to Clover everything seemed to work much easier e.g., iMessage, sleep/wake, etc. Has Unibeast and Multibeast changed that much that so I don't need to jump through hoops to make things work? So a clean install may be...

Update Directly from El Capitan to High Sierra via Mac App Store?

I have been out of the Hackintosh loop for a while. I skipped Sierra. My Hack has always handled direct updates of El Capitan through the Mac App Store using Clover just like a real Mac. I read here that update from El Cap to Sierra was possible the same way. Will I be able to update directly...

    OS X 10.11.6 Update

I have been out of the country and was not aware of the update. My system has been pretty solid and updates always go well. However, I like to comb through the comments to see if there are any issues that would make me hold back on the update. I somehow hit the update by mistake and off it went...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

After making a cloned copy of 10.11.3, I held my breath through this update. Updated through the app store. Booted fine, updated graphics driver through the Nvidia preferences manager and that was it. Everything works. This has been a great build for me.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

Looks like I will be watching and waiting a while longer on this one. First update I have seen in a while that appears to not be smooth sailing for the majority. Sticking with 10.11.3.
