Old Contacts won't sync over iCloud. New ones do.

They are, in iCloud.com, on my iPhone and iPad and real MacBook. All sync perfectly but my Hackintosh.

Old Contacts won't sync over iCloud. New ones do.

Hey, I got a weird problem with the Contacts app. It does not show any "old" contacts (ie non on first start) from my iCloud account. If I add contacts they show up in my other devices fine and new contacts created on other devices also sync back to my Mac. I already tried all the basics...

Updating SmBios to more fitting product, breaking iCloud?

I just did. No change noticable, yet. Time has to tell. However, "About this Mac" still shows the old Mac Pro and not the iMac Product Identifier. Is there anything else I need to do? I changed it in the EFI Partition in CLOVER/config.plist and did nothing else.

Updating SmBios to more fitting product, breaking iCloud?

Hey guys, I have a Hackintosh running Clover and Yosemite (followed this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html) and it works quite well. I have a few issues with audio and network which I kind of had before on Mavericks. I...

    Bluetooth Tip for Germany

Just a tip for german users: The GMYLE Micro USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter (get it here from Amazon.de: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007MKMJGO) works perfectly in 10.9.2 and only costs 10 Euro. Wake from sleep also works, confirmed with Magic Mouse button press.

    [HASWELL SUCCESS] GA-H81M-HD3 / i5 4440 / Intel HD 4600

In my setup they are functional (had a mouse attached to front and rear USB as well as flash drives). I can't confirm USB 3 speeds since I have no supporting hardware. I also noticed that the system sometimes freezes when I plug or unplug a USB device. This has happened twice now to me. Not...

Building a Budget Haswell Build: How Low Can You Go?

    >> 2. Change XHCI mode to enabled instead of Smart Auto Any explanation why one should do so? I experienced crashes *sometimes* when plugging usb devices. Might this solve it?

    [SUCCESS 10.9.2] Haswell Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 + Core i3-4330 HD4600 Graphics

Story: I recently had to move to a new pad which had a dedicated home office room and while my current CustoMac was set up to the TV which is now in the living room I needed a new CustoMac for the office. Requirements were basicly for it to be cheap but fast. Optimize price/value while...

    [HASWELL SUCCESS] GA-H81M-HD3 / i5 4440 / Intel HD 4600

Just a quick reply: I also had success in installing using the MultiBeast Settings from here basicly: http://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/1v7n9k/success_with_gah81mhd3_mavericks_total_cost_630ish/ However, my ethernet is not working. Did you get yours to work? I already tried both...

Dual-monitor with Intel HD Graphics 4600: Grey screen after boot

Interesting. I just did a clean install and encountered the same problem GA-H81M-HD3 with Core i3 4330 and HD4600 graphics. The odd thing is - this only happens sometimes. If I just reboot it works. If I reboot with -v it works as well. I would welcome ideas, too. Some oddities from the...

How many displays are supported by the HD4600 graphics?

Okay, then I seem to have done everything correctly. Please take a look at my post #8 which elaborates on the persisting problem. Side note: I just tried Windows again with a different DP to HDMI cable. Same result. Can not get the DP screen to output things. Side note #2: In MacOS when I shut...

How many displays are supported by the HD4600 graphics?

Okay, I followed the guide. Audio is working and I can select HDMI audio (although I did not test this). However, the problem persists: The screen on DP is not showing anything. I noticed in IOJones that AppleIntelFramebuffer@2, which is supposed to be DP, has a port-number of 0x0 which is...

How many displays are supported by the HD4600 graphics?

#edit: i guess the framebuffer is just inverted... trying now. Thanks for the suggestion. I read through your post and am quite sure that I understood what to do. I checked my port layout and found out I had to use graphics_intel_hd5k-azul-c-90_patch.command.zip (- c -). However the patch...

    tonymacx86's Haswell mATX: GA-Z87MX-D3H - i7-4770K - HD 4600

My manual says that the DVI-D Port would not support a to-DSUB-adapter. Which is okay for me. DVI-D and HDMI work fine but I can not get any signal out of the DisplayPort. I also tried Windows and with original Intel drivers no signal either. Any idea how to debug this? Might the port have a...

    tonymacx86's Haswell mATX: GA-Z87MX-D3H - i7-4770K - HD 4600

I just did a new build with this board but a smaller processor: i3-4330. Seems fine yet, but I don't seem to get anything out of the DisplayPort. I am using a adapter to DVI-D but the screen does not get recognized. I already tried all of the HD 4600 IGPlatformIDs but none did change that. Any...

How many displays are supported by the HD4600 graphics?

Okay, I decided to try myself. Sadly on the GA-Z87MX-D3H with Core i3 4330. I did connect HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort but only HDMI and DVI work at the same time. The mainboard manual however states that 3 displays at the same time are possible. I did not try it under Windows but maybe some else...

How many displays are supported by the HD4600 graphics?

Hi, I currently have a 3 monitor setup, but I will soon build another CustoMac using the current CustoMacMini suggestions, which include a HD4600 graphics solution. Will I be able to use all my three screens (each is 1920x1080/60Hz) at the same time in OS X? Has anyone tried it yet? Thanks, scurra
