It works perfectly on mine, you just need the correct kext from Rehabman ;)
To do so :
1. Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext if you have one in /System/Library/Extensions
2. Copy Rehabman's GenericUSBXHCI.kext to your desktop. Download here
3. Download KextBeast here.
4. Run KextBeast to...
I have the same status in Disk Utility.
But I usually burn disks using Toast Titanium, and this one works perfectly.
And in fact, I just did a test and was able to erase with Disk Utility a CD (the disk was burned using Toast)
Then, I burned on this same disk 2 small files using the...
Everything is working well on mine. I didn't had to do any trick with my Ethernet connexion. The Mac App Store worked OOb, same for iCloud. And in order to get iMessage to work, I just had to use Chameleon to have Chimera r2266 (latest one) loaded instead of the 2248.
A quick update. I installed Mavericks yesterday, and it works like a charm. No issues at all so far.
I will add some quick tutorial on how I did it, but in fact it was much easier than for Mountain Lion since everything works OOB basically.
I read the audio thing may sometimes not work in fact, but this was with an old version of this motherboard that I believe, is not in sale anywhere since it was nearly a year ago now.
Good luck with your build !
If your GC is not natively supported, you'll have to do the following :
First install ML using the internal GPU of your CPU which means having GraphicsEnabler set to "yes" in MultiBeast. If you have already installed ML without the GC, it means this step is already done.
Then you have to...
It's not really clear on what you need help.
I am pretty sure your GPU is now supported natively with 10.8.3
About Multibeast, what have you been installing already ? Is something not working ?
Since you mobo is similar to mine and a lot of others, you may just look at our posts reporting...
The trackpad from your first link use Bluetooth too... So not sure it may work much better.
I read the news about the G series support but since they already have a trackpad for mac, I doubt they ever make this one available :
I just found some errors about the battery level (I have edited my previous post while you were sending yours apparently)
Changed the batteries to see if it helps.
But will definitely use the original bluetooth from Apple as soon as it arrives. Hoping this will guaranty me no more problems.
Nothing new on my problem here. I ordered an internal Apple Bluetooth card, but will keep looking for an explanation.
And even the internal may not work, since I will be hooking it to a USB internal connector on the mother board.... But since it will be an Apple one, I hope it will be able to...
I have a problem with bluetooth too, but in my case it works once after the boot. If I put it to sleep, then it won't work anymore until next reboot.
If you find anyway to reset all this bluetooth thing, I am interested too...
