Same here. Tried a new installation at least 20 times now, every time with changed MultiBeast settings.
I assume it has something to do with MultiBeast, why else should the first boot work fine (with -x -y maxmem=4096) and not anymore after installing MultiBeast?
I have a Z97 board as well and could get rid of the kernel panics by disabling intel graphics in the Bios.

Right now, I can't get to the desktop. Tried a lot of boot flags (including -x of course, and in combination).

And I realized something else.
When I have Intel Processor Graphics enabled in the Bios, I get a Kernel panic during boot.
If I disable it, I can boot regularly until the AppleKeyStore starting error appears...
